Is it audacity or delusion?
We should all aspire to chase the things we want like a Nigerian woman does. The audacity of a woman who has nothing going for her believing she deserves the best caliber of men available in society. Men wouldn’t dare, and I would love to deconstruct this disparity. They believe they deserve it because they simply exist but you are scared?!

No, I won’t check out your portfolio. Here’s why. Anytime you ask someone to do something, it’s a pitch. In a pitch, say what’s in it for the other person. What’s in it for me to check out your portfolio? Why would I spend my time, energy, and attention—all of which I value highly—on that as opposed to anywhere else? If there’s nothing in it for me, then you’re asking for charity. If you’re asking for charity, then ask for charity. Make it clear. I like doing favors sometimes and being charitable sometimes. But I can’t tell if that’s what you’re asking for, and I won’t assume it. Even if I agreed to it, you haven’t even given me any criteria. Is there something specific you want help with? Something to improve? Something you’re stuck on? Some job it’s not doing? General questions get general answers. Specific questions get specific answers. Since I don’t know what you want help with and there doesn’t seem to be much incentive for me, it’s a pass. Here are some examples of pitches I would consider more (even if I’d still say no): “Dan, would you be willing to do me a favor and review my portfolio to help me land a design job working on a U.S.-based team for a fintech startup?” “Dan, can you please review my portfolio to see if the UI design work feels closer to junior or senior caliber? I’ll make a donation to your favorite non-profit as a token of thanks.” “Dan, would you mind looking at my portfolio to see if I’m the kind of person you’d hire? I know you value your time, attention, and energy, so I’d gladly take any feedback you can provide after looking for even 30 seconds.” @odeniransulaimo, wanna pitch again? I’m open to you trying again if you’d like. But even better: pitch someone who’s in a closer position to help you get what you want. If you want a job at a sports betting startup, pitch a hiring manager at a sports betting startup to check out your portfolio. Even if they won’t hire you for THEIR startup, their feedback would be way more relevant to getting a job at a sports betting startup than my feedback would be, since I’ve never worked at a sport betting startup. In short, when you pitch, make it about them and make it as easy as possible for them to give you what you want.

If I shared with you some videos that I made by just facing the camera after getting access to the playbook, you would be amazed 👏. Honestly, you're a messenger. May God bless you now and forever

People tell me all the time that this post changed their lives!
If you've been paying attention to my posts, you would have known where to start by now, but let me repeat it for those at the back. 1. Learn a digital skill. Pick anything that appeals to you and learn. It doesn't matter. Almost every digital skill is worth learning. Pick one and start immediately. 2. Sometimes you don't even need a digital skill. You can start with any skill or knowledge you already have. If you know how to make lash extensions or know a lot about relationships, anything at all. You can start talking about it daily by creating text or video content. 3. Create content. It doesn't matter what you do or know. Talk about it. Write it. Make videos about it. Do it daily. This alone would completely change your life in 6 months if you start today. Geh Geh made a name talking about what? If he can do it, anyone can. If you do nothing and do only this in 2026, by June, your life will completely transform. 4. Learn how to write. Writing is powerful. Writing is my weapon. Writing is all I do on X. This is why people follow me. This is why you're asking me for life advice, and you didn't even know me 3 months ago. You don't even know what I look like, except for a few days ago when I uploaded my picture. Basic grammar, punctuation, and literary devices. Learn these things and how to use them. It will not only improve how you write, but also how you speak and communicate in general. If you can communicate clearly, it will take you far in life. 5. Move fast. Very fast. Have a sense of urgency. Everything you do, never do it slowly. Even how you walk, you must walk with your legs off the ground. Don't drag your feet when walking. Learning a skill? Move fast. Starting a business? Fast! Building a product? You must run like you're being chased. If you don't move fast, someone will overtake you. Will you be the fastest? Maybe not, but at least you won't end last. 6. Build or create something. Big or small, it doesn't matter, but have something you can look at and say I did that. It's the same thing I'm doing with remotah.com, a platform that will completely change how Africans find global remote jobs. We're still letting people join the waitlist, so please tell someone about it. Why am I doing this? I want to build something I can touch or feel, and possibly make an impact. For you, it could be anything. Maybe a business. A book you wrote. Someone you impacted. A new body from your workout at the gym. 7. Do everything with excellence. Honestly, I still struggle with this daily because I feel I should be doing things more excellently. I'm working on it. Everything you touch must show that someone took the time to do it. It was well thought out. It shows detail. Also, when you learn, learn deeply. You must know that thing more than the average person. A plumber? You must be the world's best plumber. A make-up artist? People must see your work and want to lick someone's face. You must know what you know deeply. World-class. Excellence. Nobody should be able to compete with you. 8. Try everything. I tell myself all the time that I don't want to be in my bed in old age, regretting all the opportunities I didn't try, places I didn't go, friends I didn't make, things I didn't learn, products I didn't build. I want to be old, have only good memories, and pat myself daily that I did something. I may not end up as wealthy as I want—a billionaire in dollars, but I'm sure I'll not end up saying it's because I didn't try that idea that's why I never made it. If I never make it, I'll pat myself on the back and say, at least I tried. I gave it my best. I gave it everything I had, and it just didn't work, and that's OK. Sometimes, life is like this. +++++ Have those things at the back of your mind. Work on it daily. Push yourself. Challenge yourself and tell yourself every day that you can be a better version of who you were yesterday. Watch how your life will change. Merry Christmas!

We need more legitimate earners, like Babajide, who are comfortable with sharing to “brag” more. People need to know you have a better chance making money the right way.

What's messing with my head this early morning... I decided to dig into how AI models are evaluated, so I started with the one with a unique name — the humanities last exam. Apparently, this was developed by Dan Hendrycks, who runs an organisation called the Centre for AI Safety that advises Elon Musk's xAI and Facebook's AI lab. HLE isn't actually his first AI benchmark test. He also developed the MMLU benchmark earlier. As models got smarter, they were scoring really high on MMLU, as high as 90%; hence, he went to develop something harder, which is the humanities' last exam. The best model in the market today, Fable 5.1, is scoring a measly 59% on this exam. Even OpenAI's newly released model, Astra, scored under 59%. I wonder how hard the exam is. He has a PhD, has written a book, and is a professor. So I decided to dig into this guy, expecting to see an older man, but he's just 31 years old!

AN OPEN LETTER TO NYESOM WIKE: YOUR FEAR IS WELL FOUNDED Letters from Stockholm Mr. Wike, You have finally said something I can agree with. You told the nation that your biggest fear is President Tinubu losing next year's election, and that whoever wins — Peter Obi or Atiku — will come for you first. You said, in your own words, "I know they will come for my head." Let me assure you, Mr. Wike: your instincts are correct. And let me tell you why. I, Kio Amachree, am doing everything within my power, and using every connection I have, to make certain that the man you have tied your fortunes to never sees a second term. I have written to President Trump. I have written to Secretary Kennedy, with whom my family's history is intertwined. I have written to FBI Director Kash Patel. I have written to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and to the Security Council. I have written to the Prince of Wales, to Boris Johnson, to Lord Cameron — my old school connections put to the service of Nigeria. Every letter says the same thing: examine the record of the man who calls himself President of Nigeria. And what is that record? It is not my invention. It sits in an American federal courthouse. In 1993, the United States government seized $460,000 from accounts linked to Bola Tinubu as proceeds connected to heroin trafficking — Case No. 93 C 4483, Northern District of Illinois. That is not gossip. That is a court record. On August 28, 2026, the FBI confirmed under sworn declaration that it carried out an investigation into his activities. And on that very same day, your principal filed papers fighting to keep those records sealed. Ask yourself the question every Nigerian is now asking, Mr. Wike: who fights this hard to hide files if the files contain nothing? An innocent man demands his records be published. A compromised man hires American lawyers to bury them. You say you think about the President's re-election when you sleep and when you eat. While you were thinking, your principal is spending three weeks on holiday in Europe as the case closed in around him, and no photograph with the American President materialised. The man you serve is fighting a rearguard action in a foreign courtroom, and even his loudest defenders are lowering their voices. You have chained yourself to a sinking anchor and you are only now noticing the water. And a word about Rivers State, Mr. Wike, because this is personal to my family's legacy even if it is not personal to you. My father, Chief Godfrey Kio Jaja Amachree QC, was among the founding fathers of Rivers State — Nigeria's first Solicitor-General, the first African Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations. On his grave and on my ancestors I make you this promise: the accountability that is coming for your principal will not stop at your principal. The emergency rule, the billions, the arrogance — all of it will be examined lawfully, openly, and without fear. Not mob justice. Épuration légale. Courts, records, questions, answers. So yes, Mr. Wike. Be afraid. Not of assassins — nobody wants your head. Be afraid of something far worse for men like you: due process. You wanted a fight. Let's tango. Kio Amachree Stockholm Disclaimer: References to the 1993 Chicago proceedings concern a civil forfeiture, not a criminal conviction. Matters before Judge Beryl Howell in Greenspan v. FBI/DEA remain in litigation. Questions raised here are questions, not verdicts; all persons named are entitled to respond. Nigeria belongs to Nigerians. #TheKioSolution #ReleaseTheTinubuFiles #NigeriaBelongsToNigerians

The people paying for websites were never paying for code. They were paying for a finished website. That's it. That's the whole thing most of you still haven't understood. You already know tech pays. That was never the problem. The problem is everybody told you to learn to code first. So you downloaded VS Code. You watched a 12-hour YouTube tutorial. You got to JavaScript arrays, and something in you quietly closed the tab. Or you didn't even try, because you did the maths. Two years of learning before anybody pays you anything. Rent is due next month. Both of those were reasonable decisions. Learning to code from zero in this country, on a laptop that overheats, with NEPA taking the light halfway through the lesson, is genuinely hard. Most people who quit weren't lazy. They were being realistic. Here's what changed. A small business owner in Texas or Ohio has three options. A US agency. From about $8,000. Three months. Endless calls. A $200 freelancer. And the site looks like $200. Or nobody. Which is what most of them choose. That's why so many of them still have no website in 2026. The gap between $200 and $8,000 is enormous. Almost nobody is standing in it. You're not competing with developers. You're competing with the client doing nothing. That's the easiest competitor in the world to beat. AI is what lets one person, sitting wherever the light is holding, deliver the middle of that gap. I can't write code from scratch. I still ship. Cursor. Claude. I used 1.4 billion tokens last month. I'm not doing that for fun. I already missed crypto. Everybody and their grandma bought a Benz. I'm not missing this one. Knowledge used to be the barrier. It took years. Now the moat is judgment, taste, and the willingness to sit with a thing until it's live on a real domain. The people already doing this aren't smarter than you. They found out earlier. In two years this will be common knowledge, and the edge will shrink, because that's what happens to every edge eventually. Right now the gap is still open. I will not tell you what you'll earn. I don't know you. I don't know how much time you have, or how hard you'll push. Anyone who puts a monthly figure on your future is guessing, and usually lying. What I can tell you is what the work pays, and how I do it. The rest is you. So are you going to ship something this year, or will you just read this and still scroll past?

I guess we're all going to build an IDE now? Who's next?
Don’t code alone. Slack Code is live. Humans and agents. Same channel. Same work. Launching today with agents from @AnthropicAI, @github, @Cognition, and @vercel. This is real multiplayer coding. See it at @Dreamforce #DF26
