Just want to say as an art collector. Fuck who ever this guy is. I will never stand for anyone who thinks it’s cute or “art” to promote something that is not to be played with. Art deserves boundaries and this artist and @TransientLabs crossed that boundary. Do better!
#ZahaHadid
Zaha Hadid appreciation
(1955-2016)
She's a world famous architect, whose body of work and legacy is so strong that her office is still up and running and making new projects.
What some might not know is she also painted. You could perhaps say that she painted architecture in geometric abstract.
The first time I met her was at the Architecture Association in London. She would always be walking around with a glass of red in hand.
She looked formidable and intimidating from a distance, but that glass in her hand is a prop help her navigate corridors filled with strangers, and a shield when she reviews the works of students in crit sessions. It was a form of theater, an extension of a public persona.
I never knew who she was behind that, but she was bad ass.
The painting here are circa 1980s to 1991. Titles in ALT

On 28 October 1893 in St.Petersburg, Tchaikovsky conducted the premiere of his 6th Symphony. Towards the end of 1923, Nathan Milstein and Vladimir Horowitz performed in the same hall in a concert conducted by Glazunov. Milstein, who played his Violin Concerto, takes up the story:
Dmitri Bortniansky, the Ukrainian-Russian composer who enjoyed success with around half a dozen operas, was born at Hlukhiv #OTD in 1751.
