Basalt Vault is live on @Arbitrum.
With this launch, Arbitrum users can now access a managed onchain vault experience built for simpler strategy execution.
Basalt uses @GMX_IO’s BTC/USD GM pool as the core strategy component, with BTC exposure hedged through @Dolomite_io.
In practice:
• GMX provides the liquidity pool layer
• Dolomite supports the hedging layer
• Basalt packages the full setup into a cleaner vault experience
The goal is to make this strategy easier to access without requiring users to manually build the position, monitor the hedge, or handle ongoing rebalancing.

Immutable core. Isolated vaults. Funds only ever you control.
Most "trustless" protocols still ship an upgrade switch or a shared pool — the exact doors that get drained. Basalt closes them by design and puts the proof on-chain.
Open-source and available on Github.
Basalt Vault - Onchain BTC Yield retweeted
Congratulations to our friends at @basalt_vault on going live on @arbitrum.
The BTC exposure in their new vault is hedged on our platform, a great example of what protocols can build on top of Dolomite.

Zap, loop, settle, earn. Four steps, run entirely by code.
The contracts execute the same sequence every time — entries, rebalances, withdrawals, all on rails. You hold the NFT; the strategy does the work.

Target LTV sits at 50%. Liquidation waits up near 84%. That gap is your breathing room.
And since the position is hedged, a BTC drop pulls the debt down with it.
The keeper handles rebalancing automatically — set it and leave it.
Basalt is new. Its foundation is proven.
GMX and Dolomite each hold hundreds of millions in TVL on Arbitrum, tested across multiple market cycles.
Your position inherits that track record from day one.

The code is public.
Every contract behind Basalt — immutable core, handlers, keeper — is open to read, fork, and pick apart. The best audit is the one you run yourself.

The numbers that define Basalt Vault.
- Backtest APY: 19.7%
- Max drawdown: -5.7%
- Delta: ~0 (pseudo-delta-neutral)
- Liquidation threshold: 83.8%
The vault targets 50% LTV and is capped at 70%.
Yield is sourced from GMX market-making fees; BTC exposure is hedged on-chain.
Two-year backtest. $10,000 deployed four ways.
- Basalt: +43.1% — $14,314
- GM (unhedged): +42.0% — $14,207
- 50/50: +29.0% — $12,925
- BTC (hold): +16.0% — $11,643
The same yield engine as GM, with the BTC leg hedged: comparable upside, materially lower drawdown (-5.7% max).
