I wanted to say a huge thank you to the @GitHub and the GitHub Universe team. They do a good job and they care. I have a good BS detector. Obviously they invite people to win them over (the swag was amazing).
I got a good amount of time to chat with @Vlad_GitHub and @kdaigle and I was really impressed with their passion. I had time to ask questions and my question was typically, "hey you guys kinda suck." Obviously that's nonproductive, but they gave me the time of day and listened.
I want GitHub to succeed, I want everyone too. They have an extremely complicated business and they straddle industries that are diametrically opposed culturally. I'm still gonna complain nonstop about Copilot (and CI in general just ruins my day), but these guys aren't the enemy.
