Lockhart, Bryson, Allister & others within Unionism really are demonstrating that they cannot comprehend a NI where Unionism isn't the top dog.
That equality seems such an imposition upon them?
Is quite telling.
They don't want an NI where they might be treated like Nationalists

An incident where pig heads were put in a public park early on Saturday morning has been described as "disgusting and sick" by a local councillor.

Absolute proof that this little 'leader of the bonfire people' is just in it for himself, not for Unionism, not for Loyalism, not for Protestantism and not for Britishness, just his selfish little self.

Has Gavin Robinson been interviewed by @PSNIBelfastE for standing on road during Dondonald protest or are there different rules for DUP?
If @moneillsf had blocked ELP engagements until this was sorted out, @BBCnireland @BelTel etc would be grumbling.
Double standards persist

@GRobinsonDUP on The Nolan Show earlier, while shouting down, @GerryCarrollPBP claimed he “stood on the central reservation while talking to police” at a peaceful protest, blocking a road. in Dundonald.
Will @StephenNolan issue a correction?

Tommy Robinson has been found guilty. Joey Barton and Danny Tommo are on remand. James English is on bail awaiting sentencing, and Russell Brand is on trial.

Looks like Jonathan Buckley won’t be getting the unionist unity he’s called for —
Unionist Unity and ‘O’Neill Must Stay’ don’t go together
Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:-
“Dressing up a message of ‘O’Neill Must Stay’ in the appealing garb of unionist unity may be thought clever, though not so subtle.
“The DUP showing unity with Carla Lockhart MP over Drumcree would have been a good start.
“Unity would be great - but to do what? Keep Sinn Fein in power and continue to implement the Union-dismantling Protocol? I detect no dilution of the DUP’s disastrous platform on these issues.
“Unity has to be more than a sound bite. It requires substance. Substance such as we had when all unionist leaders signed up to ‘unalterable opposition’ to the Protocol on 28 September 2021. Who walked away to implement the same Protocol?
“TUV has never shied away from meaningful unity. Indeed, when I proposed a unity platform for the last Westminster election, it was rejected out of hand by the DUP leadership.
The unity I’m interested in is not about saving any party. It would be about maximising unionist representation on a platform which advances, not undermines, unionist principles.
“Moreover, unity shouldn’t be used as a distraction tactic when fearing the loss of an MP because you have chosen unity with Sinn Fein over a party colleague.”

I’m in Australia for a month. Was up around the harbour bridge and opera house last week and there was a big display stating how Halloween originated in Ireland and a massive photo of Derry on Halloween

Taking Halloween back to its roots — literally. 👻 Jack-o’-lanterns, old-school Irish style: turnips, not pumpkins.
Step 1: Buy a turnip.
Step 2: Find a responsible adult with a power drill to hollow it out. Ancient tradition, modern equipment.
Step 3: Admire your terrifying little root vegetable. 🕯️
Disclaimer: No spoons were harmed in the making of these lanterns. The turnips have lodged a formal complaint.

It's kicking off in Poland right now.
Police have descended on the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw, while its president, Bogdan Święczkowski, a key ally of President Karol Nawrocki, reportedly arrived with a locksmith to open the gates.
Right-wing nationalist President Nawrocki has cancelled his trip to Senegal and is flying back to Poland.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said: "Restoring the rule of law is our duty. After years of PiS lawlessness, this is a difficult process, sometimes painful, and requires decisive action. There is no other way."

It's been the long goodbye, but Carla Lockhart will quit the DUP early next week. She's its youngest MP with its biggest majority. She will join forces with Jim Allister - even if not joining his party. Double trouble lies ahead for the DUP.

The Government's Call for Evidence on Part K, Protection from Falling, Collision and Impact, presents an important opportunity to examine these questions.
The central issue is not simply whether a building complied with the regulations when it was constructed. It is whether the regulatory framework provides sufficient protection against the deterioration, weakening and eventual failure of safety critical structures decades later.
It cannot be vague, it needs to be clear cut, at present the "Guidance" is too vague, it needs teeth!

It’ll be great if the PSNI put the same time and effort into investigating and arresting some of the 12,000 active loyalist paramilitaries or those loyalist bands that engage in sectarian abuse of Catholics and who promote support for the UDA/UVF. But I won’t hold my breath!
