I’ve revived Z80 Bits, now on GitHub. New articles will be added over time. Check it out here: github.com/mbaze/Z80-Bits
Another Lovebyte demoparty is over. Two entries made the podium but I’m especially proud of our 4th-place demo with Busy. Just 512 bytes and it contains an actual shader.
With Forever 2024 demo party just around the corner I thought it might be a good idea to create a set of framed vintage ZX Spectrum ads :)
Not much time for coding but 256-byte ZX Spectrum program Dissolver cracked the top 3 at Lovebyte 2024 and last year's Entangler won the Nano Awards - best sizecoding production of 2023 in its category :)

Meet the Delta, a Yugoslavian/Czechoslovakian ZX Spectrum (non)clone assembled from unused Sinclair stock. This particular specimen will soon find its way to @ZxLoad museum in Portugal.
I have decided to publish the source code of the recently released ZX Spectrum demo Ganzfeld. Thanks everyone for the overwhelmingly positive feedback. github.com/3sc-demos/ganzfel…
Thanks to @msxroca1969 this Spanish beauty landed here. Quite possibly the 1st Investronica toastrack in my country (?)
This year's Forever party was one of the best ever and I liked the overall vibe of the place. I was secretly hoping that guys who made long trips from abroad wouldn't be disappointed but I think it turned out good. Thanks to everyone involved :)
Forever party is less than 3 weeks away. Besides your 8-bit duties there's an opportunity to visit the vineyards of Terra Sucha. Also in neighbouring Trnava nicknamed Little Rome because of its archbishopric you can grab a coffee at Synagoga or some beer downtown.
I'm always a bit torn when I see a vintage computer in totally pristine condition. It feels almost sacrilegious to actually use it but if it just takes up space what's the point? There should be a museum for specimens like this.
Lovebyte 2023 is over. 3 podium cracks and a visit from Woz. I call that a good weekend. Here's my contribution, a 256-byte program Entangler for Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Greetings to fellow sceners and sizecoders.

@lovebyteparty
It's now official. Forever 2023 demoparty in Slovakia *will* happen and it will be relocated to a place near Trnava. forever.zeroteam.sk/
Interesting piece of ZX Spectrum "archaeology". This ULA is from a very late batch (1-st week of 1990), made by Plessey. At this point Sinclair didn't exist, Ferranti didn't exist and even Plessey was already bankrupt :)
After a long hiatus I didn't quite have the chops to crack the "podium" at Lovebyte '22 but making this 32-byte program called "akasha" was fun.
Nice to see 256-byte programs from established Speccy sceners like Busy, Noro, Omega and @treeleafgirl at this year's @lovebyteparty. Here are my two entries, "quadpusher" and "spacedots".
