Fire fighters and other dedicated public servants deserve a dignified retirement. Let Congress know it’s time to repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision and the Government Pension Offset.

Sept. 11 is a testament to the true spirit of fire fighters and rescue workers. Today, we honor those who sacrificed everything to save others and stand with those suffering from WTC-related illnesses. Their resilience is a reminder of the lasting impact of that fateful day.

The PFEM IAFF Local 2665 family is deeply saddened as we mourn the loss of Brentwood Missouri Fire Department’s Retired Fire Chief Bob Niemeyer. Chief Niemeyer proudly and selflessly served the citizens of Brentwood for nearly 50 years, he will be greatly missed. Rest easy Chief

On January 6, 2021, Josh Hawley showed us he’s a fraud and a coward. Missourians deserve a U.S. Senator who’s willing to stand and fight. That’s why I’ve decided to take him on.

There is a certain stillness at the center of the Christmas story: a silent night when all the world goes quiet. And all the clamor, everything that divides us, fades away in the stillness of a winter’s evening. I wish you that peace this Christmas Eve.

Today, we remember. Today, we reflect. Today, we hold our people closer. Today, we teach our firefighters in the firehouses about duty, sacrifice and the mission. Today, we weep. Tomorrow, we will be stronger and wiser. #NeverForget911

Everything we have (or don’t have) on the job is decided by elected officials. If we’re not at the table, we are going to be on the menu. Firefighters have a powerful voice in the halls of power, but only when we stand together. #forwardtogether #unionstrong @chulavistafire

The middle class built America — and unions built the middle class. Everything that supports a middle-class life was made possible by unions. On Labor Day, we honor all those workers — and their enduring movement — that keep our economy moving and make our nation strong.
