Now it’s our turn. There’s a reason I’ve been working so hard this election cycle. It’s the same reason my husband, so many leaders of both parties, and so many of you have been out there as well — because we know the stakes are so high. We have so much to lose if we can’t get this done — and we have so much to gain if we do. We owe it to our children to reject the politics of division and fear and embrace a message of hope, and inclusion. Over the next few years, our kids will be the ones shouldering some of the most profound consequences of what we do — or don’t do — today.

Donald Trump likes to claim that he’s done more for Black folks than any president since Abraham Lincoln. But as this piece outlines, that is another one of his shameless lies. On Tuesday, let’s make the right choice and elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz! thehill.com/opinion/campaign…

56 years later, we can make history again.
#OnThisDay in 1968, Shirley Chisholm became the first Black woman elected to Congress. The Brooklyn, New York native represented New York’s 12th congressional district for 7 terms from 1969 to 1983. Learn more on our Searchable Museum: s.si.edu/4fyX1sq.

If you plan on voting for Jill Stein or Trump because of the war in the Middle East, please watch and reconsider. It’s just 6 minutes and it’s worth the watch.

Dear white women: My prayer is that slowly, one by one, you are realizing that you and your daughters are FAR safer in the company of Black and Brown women, than you ever were in the company of white men. Vote blue the whole ballot!

To the Stein/Gaza voters: here she is with Mike Flynn, who plotted with the Russians to STOP a UN SECURITY COUNCIL vote CRITICAL of West Bank settlements. Trump will put Stein’s pal and “beach front property” Kushner in charge of leveling Gaza. You’re helping them.

Presidents do not have to be saints, and we hope that a second term for Donald Trump would avoid disaster. But he poses an unacceptable risk to America and the world. If The Economist had a vote, we would cast it for Kamala Harris econ.st/3NKsH2r

As you consider your vote, remember this. Trump wants to bring back stop and frisk policing that targets Black men for harassment and give cops immunity from prosecution.

This is for anyone who cares about the climate and is thinking about voting for Jill Stein or RFK Jr. or sitting this election out. I get your frustration, but I'm asking you: please don't. Here's why voting for Harris is the best move 🧵

This is @NickyJamPR, the Puerto Rican (male) singer who showed-up at a Trump rally to endorse him, and Trump thought, “Nicky” was a woman. A hot woman. Today, he announced he renounces his endorsement of Trump.

Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.) To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!

I mean this sincerely, a vote for anyone other than @KamalaHarris is a vote condoning women dying in America. This isn't a game, or some scheme to save on your taxes, or the way to punish Democrats over Gaza, it's the health and safety of every woman you know and claim to love.
