Didcot Town Football Club would like to reiterate that there is no fireworks display at the club this year.  Adverts on websites and social media recently have suggested wrongly that the club would be holding an event in November. The club spoke with the event hosts after last years event and explained that we would not be hosting a display this year or in the future.  After listening to local residents and the local council the club took into account the impact this had on  residents and pets close to the club when making their decision.

Do you have a dad,  granddad,  brother,  uncle or friend who has played for Didcot Town over the years? Following the success of Mel Fleming, Hugh Ryan, Harry Marriott, Dave Marriott and Peter Slade all attending the final game of last season, we are looking to invite more of our former players to be our guests at home games this season.  The five players got together,  relieving some fantastic memories of their time playing for the Railwaymen over 60-years ago.  As well as a section in the matchday programme about their time at Didcot,  we will introduce them onto the pitch before kick-off. They will then have their photos taken with the match captains and officials before kick-off. We would like to invite teammates together,  so if you did play for Didcot or know someone who did who would like to be our guests,  then please get in touch.

Didcot Town presents an evening with Mark Crossley (@bignorms) on Saturday 17th February 2024 at Didcot Town FC. The @Cymru International made over 500 appearances in a career spanning over 20 years, playing in the Premier League with @NFFC , @Boro and @FulhamFC. Crossley is best remembered for his time with #Forest, where he started as a trainee and he spent 13 years. He worked under legendary manager Brian Clough. Listen to many incredibly funny stories and impressions of his former manager. The shot stopper is one of only a few goalkeepers to save a penalty in an FA Cup final. Crossley saved Gary Linekers spot kick in the 1991 final and he was also the only keeper to save a penalty from Matt Le Tissier, who scored from 47 of his 48 penalties. It is sure to be a great evening, so book early to guarantee your ticket. Email [email protected]

🚎 Coach to Yeovil news! Saturday 30th September, meet at the club for a 10:30am departure. Message @JamieHeapy or email [email protected] to book your spot 🫡
