Hey quick question why is your employee working late into the evening—to the point he can’t even put his kids to bed—then needing to work at 5 am the next morning but despite that workload unable to afford his mortgage on that salary?
I mean, it's a death sentence. I am 100% convinced that my brother - who played years of ice hockey before helmet requirements - died as a result of this. And it's not a fast process. Your brain rots slowly. Over years. Until you are no longer you, just a shell.
This is a great point and a very important one when it comes to what Fielder does with nonfiction.
People that if they watch a doc with a talking head, they're hearing "the truth". There is nothing in the shot that accounts for the filmmakers literally *prompting* the TH off-cam
Nathan Fielder shares the process behind making ‘You Can See Everything’ at SCAD Savannah Film Festival 2026 Docs to Watch Director’s Roundtable, hosted by THR’s Scott Feinberg:
“The only reason we started including these other things was because it felt dishonest not to. We’d actually be hiding things from the viewer if we didn’t let them in on what we knew or what we observed.”
...or asking leading questions off-cam, or what conversations the filmmaker and the TH are having off-cam.
What Fielder is doing is *showing the seams*. He is literally trying to loop us into the filmmaking that goes into the construction if the scene and story.

Literally keep forgetting that Tuesday is midterms which is very funny for a terminally online political poaster such as myself
Oh - the Bluesky that everyone tells us is super libbed up and "good"? *That* bluesky?
Bluesky tells WIRED it blocked links to a leaked archive of information on 41,000 ICE, CBP, and other DHS workers because it contains people’s contact information, shared without their authorization. buff.ly/Winz3Cp
I wish I loved anything as much as Libs love demanding that Muslim candidates denounce things
Haley Stevens is on CNN demanding Abdul El-Sayed denounce ‘hateful rhetoric’ - meanwhile her fiancée says he is voting for a hateful bigot who called El-Sayed a terrorist.
Maybe she should get her future life partner to denounce and disavow bigotry before she lectures others on bigotry.
(And she keeps saying the ad blamed ‘Jews’ for higher grocery prices when it blamed Israel and didn’t mention Jews. You don’t have to like the ad, but you don’t have to lie about it either.)

Don’t be surprised if NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE (2025) becomes the Best Picture front runner soon. I think people are seriously underestimating how much this movie is going to connect with audiences including Academy voters.
People don't want to hear this, but...every generation gets more moderate/conservative with age. So far, not one American generation has gone left with age - only right. Older left movers like myself are exceptions, not the rule.
