Message shared on behalf of Tony's friends and family:
This is a bereavement notice - because I’m trying to encourage fans at the game on Saturday - in whichever stand or block you are sitting in - to join in for a round of applause in the 57th minute of our Championship match versus Derby County.
RIP Tony Lynch, taken aged only 57.
Many Lions fans will have known Tony - a larger than life character.
Tony was a London black cab driver and a fellow tour guide - he was a true gentleman - a family man - and a lifelong loyal Millwall fan.
He loved his family - he loved his work - he loved the Lions.
Tony will be dearly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and fellow Lions fans.
Tony’s family - his wife Naomi - his boys Billy and Harry - will be at the game on Saturday.
PLEASE take part in one-minute round of applause in the 57th-minute of our game vs Derby County this coming Saturday afternoon.
When you get to the Den around the stadium, and when you take your seat PLEASE remind other fans about the 57th-minute.
A round of applause that is intended to be a celebration of Tony’s life - which perhaps is more appropriate than any silent memorial for any Millwall fan.
Once a Lion, always a Lion!
Rest in Peace Tony.

YOU CAN'T COME IN WITH A POPPY. IT'S POLITICAL." 🏴😡
That's what a doorman told a British Army veteran outside a Wetherspoons in Gosport. Then: "Don't wear it inside or you'll be asked to leave."
A poppy. For his mates who never came home. Too political for a pint.
So last night Gosport turned out. Patriots on that High Street outside The Star, standing for the men who once stood for us. Now there are calls for that manager to resign.
Braintree. England shirts. Now a soldier in Gosport. That's a pattern, and it doesn't happen by accident.

👏 This is brilliant from Zia Yusuf! He put that smug, lecturing, hypocritical war criminal firmly in his place.
On Question Time, Alastair Campbell had the front to accuse others of lying and refusing to take accountability. Zia went straight for him:
“Alastair Campbell is calling other people liars, saying they don’t apologise and take accountability. As far as I remember Alastair, you were the person who presented a dossier to the British people claiming Saddam Hussein could launch weapons of mass destruction within 45 minutes. We now know there were no WMDs of any sort.”
“You deceived the British public because you and your old boss Tony Blair wanted to go to war with Iraq, and as a direct result of your deception Alastair, almost 180 British troops are dead, 600,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. You have told some of the most consequential lies in the history of this country.”
He finished him off:
“There are people watching this who would disagree with you when you described yourself as a ‘national treasure’ recently. They would more aptly describe you as a WAR CRIMINAL! If there were any justice in this country, frankly you and your old boss Tony would be on trial!”
I didn’t know he’d described himself as a national treasure. Truly delusional.
Ruthless and accurate from Zia. You could see Campbell itching to interrupt, absolutely fuming, his old spin-doctor rage barely contained. But the “reformed” version with the carefully managed mental health narrative had to sit there and take it. That must have been agony for him.
His response was as weak as expected. He pointed to inquiries that found no deliberate lies or “sexing up”. Then he tried to equate the economic impact of Brexit with the catastrophic, ongoing consequences of the Iraq War. The two are not remotely comparable.
