Janine is often heard explaining the rationale for drug use, side effects and whether patients need further monitoring as a result of the medication they've taken. She is respectful and fair and is admired for challenging practice she does not feel adheres to Trust values. 👏💙

She’s described by her colleagues as hardworking, kind and considerate and her excellent patient care. Janine will support both the medical and nursing team in a crisis, in a calm and professional manner as well as sharing her wealth of knowledge with the students she works with.

Tonight on the covid ICU, our recovering patient enjoys the sunset. Being on the 9th floor has its advantages. Things are getting better. (Posted with permission)

This is a critical care patient. You cannot learn to look after patients as sick as this in a couple of days! ICU nursing is a speciality that demands significant knowledge and skill! Look after ICU nurses who are really struggling right now STAY AT HOME @BACCNUK
