Great research from Nolan Lawson on the AI cost of JavaScript frameworks, with benchmarks, not vibes.
@nuxt_js comes out strong for the agentic era:
- Fewest tokens of any framework (even fewer than vanilla JS)
- Near the top for cost and time per run
- Second-fewest lines of code to maintain
The cheapest code is the code the agent never has to write.

Impressive. @vuejs + content mappers + tsrs are amazing!
Tested this on the @nuxt_js ui repo and can't wait to see the impact on big Vue projects π₯
Vue Language Tools v4 alpha is out.
TypeScript 7's own tsc now type-checks .vue files via @vue/content-mapper, no more vue-tsc.
* Editor support isn't ready yet.

One week later, Pele is already in dozens of apps including @obsdmd 1.15 and @bot! Many improvements this week:
- Even faster rendering!
- Math resolver support: KaTeX, MathJax, Temml, etc
- Gradients in sankey diagrams
- Fewer edge crossings in diagrams with subgraphs
- Subscript, superscript and inline code in labels + text styles: kbd, underline, ins, cite and others
On a personal note, I am so grateful for all the love Pele received! I truly did not expect it.
My hope with Pele was to get a few bug reports ahead of the Obsidian release, so it's a wonderful feeling to see it adopted so quickly. I take this as a great honor and responsibility.
If you added Pele to your app or website, feel free to share it below π

This is Pele, my new rendering library for diagrams and charts, compatible with the latest Mermaid syntax.
- 100-500Γ faster than mermaid.js
- 6Γ smaller bundle
- No dependencies
- Easy to theme
- Responsive to device width
In pursuit of making Obsidian insanely fast and cohesively designed, I always found the Mermaid library to be too big, too slow, and too hard to theme. Pele will be the new renderer in the next version of Obsidian, but you can start using it now.
Pele [ΛpΙlΙ] is named after the goddess of volcanoes and fire. It's open source under the MIT license. Try the playground!
happy sunday! fonts.nuxt.com v1 is out π
if you haven't tried it, here's how:
1οΈβ£ use `font-family` in css or tailwind
β
... and you're done!
nuxt will detect the font, self-host it, and generate preloads + font metrics to cut layout shift + load time
no configuration required β¨

Introduce @antfu/skills
It works just like @antfu/eslint-config, an opinionated pack of skills curated from the ecosystem.
Instead of vendoring skills, you get a package-manager-like experience: install packs with their skill deps.
