don't worry everyone, if you need a break from disastrous underperformance and medical malpractice, the Philadelphia 76ers season is about to start

I’m firmly in the camp if you have to stay awake for 36 hours before kickoff so you don’t die from a blood clot you should probably skip playing that game.
Ohhh and he led a game winning drive but then the coaching staff decided to out due the medical staff and blew the game! This makes me so mad that I’m excited for the Phillies
According to Pelissero, Eagles doctors told Hurts to not sleep for 36 hours, as they considered it a risk factor
So not only did they play him in a game sleep deprived, with a blood clot, they then put him on a transatlantic flight
Fire this medical staff into the sun

Play Milton next week. Not like there’s actually a playbook for him to learn anyway so who cares, fuck it
They said “Hey don’t fall asleep it’s too risky!”
“Good you didn’t fall asleep, we should make it in time for our flight to London and back, definitely no risk there”
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days.
Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.
Can’t believe this organization made such a life threatening mistake like this and now you hurt this man in his prime…I just have a feeling things will never be the same
You just wait he is going to be put on the IR and out 6-8 weeks…then they’re just gonna mail in the season
Breaking: #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday due to a superficial blood clot.
Full statement from the #Eagles on QB Jalen Hurts:
“On Thursday, October 8th, Jalen visited the training room after practice requesting treatment for his calf. He informed the medical staff he had been cleated during the Rams game on October 4th. This was his first treatment session for the calf injury following the game, after having practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Jalen received treatment, practiced in full, and was added to the practice report.
“Out of an abundance of caution, an ultrasound was performed on Saturday following the team’s flight to London and walkthrough. The ultrasound revealed a superficial blood clot. Our medical staff and doctors in London reviewed the results and concluded that activity and mobility were important and that Jalen could safely play. Doctors recommended a follow-up ultrasound within 72 hours of the game and the return flight to Philadelphia.
“Jalen played without limitation in the game Sunday, received treatment on Monday and Tuesday, and practiced in full on Wednesday, as reflected in the practice report. Throughout our time in London and this week, we have remained in communication with the league office regarding the matter.
"On Wednesday night, a follow-up ultrasound revealed movement in the small blood clot. Jalen will be out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers as we determine the appropriate course of treatment. His health and safety are our highest priority.”
This is just not an enjoyable time in my sports life…and if I’m being honest I don’t really have confidence in the Sixers because there is an epidemic right now in Philadelphia when teams need to show up in pressure moments…how did all go downhill so fast
