Today, we're launching Masterpiece (YC P26).
@masterpiece_lab
We finance the companies building the intelligence economy, giving AI data vendors capital today instead of waiting 30–90 days for frontier labs to pay, funded through our $10M+ institutional credit facility and onchain liquidity via $USDml (coming soon).
Every era has its masterpieces. We’re financing the next ones.
I’ve had 3 diff people tell me they are 100% sure this “fastest to $1B annualized revenue” is 3 diff companies.
Very likely more than 1 data co has recently hit that mark, many of which are on Pavlov’s List.
Many more will get there in the next 6mos.
Total data spend is >$15B.
Fastest company ever to $1b annualized revenue
Nope it’s not Higgsfield or Cursor or Cognition.
Met a data company yesterday that did 0 revenue in November 2025 and 80m “in month revenue” in September 2026. They will hit $1b annualized from 11 months of being started. They are still under the radar so I can’t share who they are. Hopefully soon, with their permission.
I don’t make the rules.

Introducing Blender Bench v1 (BBv1): a benchmark for frontier LLMs on 20 realistic 3D production workflows including animation, modeling, rigging, cloth & surfacing.
GPT-6 Astra leads overall; Claude Opus 5.5 wins modeling & cloth simulation.

People still underestimate how large the data market will become.
Better models do not reduce demand for data. They increase the number of useful things models can learn.
The frontier keeps moving, so the data has to keep getting harder.

We raised $4.8M to build @laminalabs and make AI explain with video, not just text.
Introducing Simi, the fastest way to make an explainer video.
Give it a single prompt or document, and it can generate a one-minute narrated explainer in as little as 20 seconds, in 80+ languages.
It works like ChatGPT, except the answer is a video.
The round was led by @FoundationCap , with participation from @Link_Ventures and @ycombinator .
This is our story. Thread below on what we are building at.

someone needs to study what happens to a man's brain when he starts a company, gets into yc and moves to sf

Awesome to see my favorite payments blogger, @noyesclt, cover @deltadotnetwork.
Core point: consumer trust is fragile. Without a solution like delta in place, agent errors will be frequent, consumers will get burned, and it will take years to rebuild trust.
As Tom writes, delta is the only solution in market delivering the three components that agentic commerce needs to avoid this scenario and scale safely:
1) Neutral verification: a third party checking evidence, not platform attestations
2) Pre-release enforcement: errors caught before payment, not after
3) Financial accountability: someone takes the loss when mandate verification fails
For those building agentic commerce and finance solutions: if your users are going to trust agents with spend, intent enforcement has to happen before release, and users need guarantees that they will be made whole if something goes wrong.

I joined Y Combinator with 14 users, building a dev tool for myself.
Then @SaaiArora joined as CTO, and we started growing and shipping 2x faster. It forced us to rebuild product and infra from the ground up for teams, not solo devs.
We are ending the batch with >300k agent minutes per week, and teams like @mintlify, @knowunity, and @modaflows shipping through Replicas every day.
Today we're launching Replicas V2.
Cooking something up very, very soon for the launch next week🫡. Stay tuned for @archer_money @ycombinator

I strongly do not agree. This populist messaging is counterproductive. AOC teaching people that wealth = immorality is in opposition to the American dream.

I’m sorry,
But if the CEO/founder isn’t intense
You basically have no shot. Join a different startup.
You think you’re resilient and can persevere through anything and then you hear @bchesky’s story and realize some humans are actually just built different
