Hint: Buy at least 512 GB (I aim for 1 TB) for your Mac, then pull old PC hardware together and create a linux server in your house, ZFS if possible. The PC HW can easily be updated and expanded, SMB is nice and fast, especially with a gigabit ethernet connection. NAS also a simple option if you don't have old HW sitting around.

Currently conflicted. YouTube is putting AI music in my feed. I clicked on one, and it's similar to stuff you might have found in The Real Book. It makes sense, I used to practice out of that book and look for samples on YouTube. I don't know if I like being toyed with in this manner (the ai track was actually good), OTOH, I'm not sure anyone would continue making that style of music (Bossa-like) without the machines doing it. 🤔
