1m+ subs on YouTube - Da milestone Yesterday, as I was touching grass, our channel (about time 😂) hit 1m subscribers. It feels both surreal and absurd, considering YouTube is by far the most competitive social platform for shorts (ainec). Our predictions at the start of the year were to get around 500k subs on YT by the end of the year. Imagine getting 2x your predictions with 7 months left... But what people might not realize is that we aren't only the fastest-growing web3-native IP at this point; we are currently the fastest-growing IP on the internet. Yes. web2, web3, web4, web69, all of them. Big props to @nemegiri 🩷 Nemeplux ftw. Things happen for a reason From 2014 to 2025, I ran a company with one of my old friends. I handled social media (which became a huge part of our success), marketing, product development, e-commerce growth, ads, partnerships, customer service, and most importantly, artist recruitment & management. Yeah, I was basically doing everything lol. In November 2025, my business partner and I decided it was time to move on and close the company. The passion wasn't there anymore, and for a few years, we wanted to do something else. Personally, I had no idea what I was going to do next, even though I started grinding Playgigaverse socials with Neme, and we had fun. I remember it took us a month to post our first video, and 500 views back then was amazing. A month after closing my company, @0xDith wanted to talk and offered me a full-time position starting in January to keep growing the web2 socials as we started getting some decent traction, which I immediately accepted. Funny how life works sometimes. What people might not know is I’ve been with @GLHFers since their mint as a “CM.” Funny enough, I never actually wanted to be a CM lol. I had a call with Dith back then because they were hiring for the role, and I applied knowing it was my way to get in and be part of the team. Sometimes you take the opportunity that opens the door first. Go with the flow.

Yesterday, our YouTube channel reached 10.5+ m views. Yes, 10.5m views in a single day. Our content also reached more than 14 million people. Roughly the entire population of Rwanda. Absolutely crazy. I'd like to take the time to say hi to everyone in Rwanda.

So far this year, I've manually taken down 10,749 videos on YouTube alone for stealing & reposting our content. 99.9% removed our watermark, and many replaced it with their own. And that doesn't even include the copies YouTube automatically finds and removes through its AI content detection tools. YouTube is miles ahead of every other social platform when it comes to protecting creators. Their content detection dashboard is genuinely one of the reasons they're #1. They should be more agressive with new accounts stealing & capcut templates but that's another story. The only issue is those takedowns took us approximately 100m views. Yes, 100m. Funny lore about our account: one of our first shorts to ever get real traction didn't perform particularly well on our YouTube channel. I started digging and discovered someone had reposted it, and their copy had millions of views while ours had basically nothing. If you've a YouTube account, make sure you are on top of this, with AI, it's just going to get worse.
