Remember, vote NO on Amendment B this November!
This is just another version of the ongoing ballot initiative saga that we've been dealing with for eight years. Only this time, they've dressed it up in fancy tax language to make it seem like it's not what it actually is.
If you’re having to justify the military connection of a controversial data center months after the fact, then it probably never had that connection to begin with. MIDA needs to be reined in or disbanded during this upcoming legislative session.

Although election monitors are legally mandated to not interfere with voters at polling locations, it isn’t hard to imagine that something more nefarious than simple monitoring will be taking place on Election Day next week.

In the name of fairness, Justice Menssen should recuse himself from any future hearings or decisions involving the anti-gerrymandering litigation. If not, Utahns deserve an explanation for why he feels he does not have to do so.

“Neutral” isn’t costless when a U of U nursing student was detained by ICE for 15 days & the federal government is suing to end in-state tuition for Dreamers. The campus police commitment is the part that matters, & students should hold leaders to it.

SB258 was sold as a housing tool, and its marquee project was expensive homes on large lots. With new Senate leadership coming, it’s time to repeal it rather than patch it.

A massive gas-fired campus that somehow leaves the lake better off is an extraordinary claim, and the filing doesn’t show the math. The protest window is the public’s chance to demand it be better.

Utah keeps winning best-state rankings while its residents say life is getting harder. A “starter” home at $450,000 is out of reach for most young families, and the state is far behind even on that.

We'll send an update each interim day so you know what’s happening and what you can do about it.

Utah Civic Compact held a press conference last week during which they urged the Utah Department of Transportation to end its contract with Flock. What you need to know & what you can do to help ->

The UDOT contract with Flock allows UDOT to terminate the contract if it “determines that the public does not support [Flock’s] activities,” something that Utah Civic Compact says is evidenced by widespread public outcry in recent months.
Make sure to tell UDOT what you think of Flock's activities and your thoughts on their contract here: buff.ly/ja6cBJt
