Repentance is key to church health. Church leaders, what is your attitude when you discover something in your church that needs to be changed? Watch the full episode of Conversations on Church Health to find out more. youtube.com/watch?v=HF2WG_oA…
Pastor Tim Radcliff lays out three main categories from Scripture that determine whether or not you are a healthy church. Are you dependent on God in prayer, devoted to the word of God, and displaying the love of God? Any disfunction of the church stems back to one of these.
What's the difference between Church Revitalization and Church Replanting?
Continuity. One approach chooses continuity and the other chooses purposeful discontinuity.

Too often a church thinks they are healthy because they have money to pay the bills, but if you wait until finances are a problem, it's often too late! Don't let your ability to pay the bills remove the urgency of tending to your church health! #churchhealth

Today was the annual BFC Historical Society Meeting. Finesville Church was a gracious host! In the morning Pastor Rick Paashaus gave the history of the Finesville Church. In the afternoon Jill Davidson gave a Who’s Who on key figures in BFC history. Videos will be uploaded soon!
Today BFC Missionary Nelson Randolph packed his 500,000th @OCC_shoeboxes Shoebox! Wow! The last 100 were numbered. Quite a count down! That’s a LOT of children and families around the world who were given gifts and heard the gospel of Jesus Christ!
From one valley to another.
Eloise Ghrist served as a counselor at Victory Valley Camp and now serves as a global missionary as a teacher at @AcademyRift in Kenya. Eloise grew up at our New Life BFC in Oley, PA. God used her time at one valley to prepare her for the other.

Pastors, it’s Monday. Don’t resign.
Instead…
1) Drink some good coffee.
2) Lift something heavy.
3) Pray honestly.
4) Be Still and Silent.
5) Sit with a safe friend.
Bivocational pastors at your other job, apply these in your short breaks and lunch hour.
In the BFC, the local church takes the lead for the health of their church. The Board of Church Health and its director Dan Williams are here for you as a sounding board or to help you develop a vision, goal, or plan for a particular area of church life.

BFC Board of Missions global worker Haleigh Ott Vargas felt a call to share the gospel with the unreached when she was 13 years old. What shaped her discipleship towards global missions? Her BFC pastor (a former overseas missionary) and her time serving at Victory Valley Camp!
Haleigh isn't the only BFC Global Worker who previously served at Victory Valley. Many teens who serve there go on to full-time ministry. Victory Valley and Board of Missions are Partners On Mission, united to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
To celebrate in the month of October, we are hosting the Partners On Mission Fall Fundraiser. You can give one gift to support two BFC ministries! Your gift will go towards the $50,000 goal. You can give online here-->>bfc.org/partnersonmission/

What if we viewed the church budget not as a spreadsheet to survive, but as a statement of ministry vision and strategy? A healthy church budget isn't simply about the "bottom line"--it's stewarding what He has given for the advance of the gospel. bfconevoice.com/let-your-bud…
