Republican Sen. Roger Marshall reportedly lists his 1,120-square-foot Kansas cabin as his "official residence."
However, most of his official business trips as a Kansas Senator seem to allow for frequent visits to his $1.2M Florida property.
It apparently wasn’t a crisis when college coaches and conferences were hoarding the wealth athletes were creating—it only became a problem when athletes demanded their fair share.
The AFL-CIO and its Sports Council urge the Senate to vote NO on the Protect College Sports Act.

Manchin wants to talk about how Democrats lost people like him? I’d rather talk about what Dems lost because of him.
He blocked a filibuster change needed to advance voting-rights legislation.
He tanked the original Build Back Better package, which included the expanded Child Tax Credit, paid family leave, childcare investments and major climate provisions.
Manchin didn’t just walk away from Democrats. He caused Democrats to walk away from some of the biggest promises they made to voters.

The Protect College Sports Act advances through the U.S. Senate to establish federal regulations on NIL, revenue sharing, and transfer rules.
It also advocates for HBCUs and has support from the MEAC and SWAC.
Howard football player Kedrick Green says the bill would give HBCU athletes "security and a fair opportunity."
But Athletes.org, an advocacy organization for college athletics, noted this investment in HBCUs is only “authorized” by the bill and not mandated.
“It does not actually appropriate a single dollar,” the organization said.
There's a lot to be settled.
