Update on the DNC Chair race. Over the last 24 hours, we鈥檝e added 11 supporters鈥攚hich brings my count to 131. Victory requires 225 out of 448. Over 150 undecided members. No candidate is close to a majority. The race is wide open. 馃У

I don鈥檛 tweet very often. But today's shooting, and the start of school for my children this week, reminded me of The Onion鈥檚 persistent, gentle truth: that we are the only country in the world to allow this, and that we wake up every morning and recommit ourselves to inaction.
