After a SoloQ game, this player tried to add, got blocked, came to my stream to flame me and got banned finally came to my x DMs to continue.
He told me to “get a job” and quit competitive because of my age.
I’ve worked full-time as a nurse since I was 22 while competing at a high level. Along the way, I became a 3× LPLOL champion, got TCL playoffs, played internationally, and continued taking care of both my physical and mental health.
I’m now 29 and still pursuing what I love while handling real-life responsibilities.
There’s nothing embarrassing about that.
What’s embarrassing is chasing someone across three platforms because you couldn’t control your emotions after a SoloQ game.
Your age and responsibilities don’t have to kill your ambition. Don’t let bitter people convince you otherwise.
