Not many people know that @asjwebley held a senior position for a decade at Hargreaves Lansdown - the UK's largest investment and savings platform, before starting @smarterwebuk
I took a large position shortly after IPO when I looked him up on Linkedin and read this detail.
It said to me that Andrew isn't just an opportunistic hedge fund exec, he understands the actual mechanics of how people save and invest, tax wrappers, pensions, IPOs, fund raising, product design, and the regulatory constraints.
This is rare.
Combine it with his honesty and integrity and to me it = unicorn CEO.
Andrew barely ever mentions this detail, but I think it is very important for potential investors to know.
He does however touch on it in this new interview with @TimKotzman

Good morning.
Last week @smarterwebuk finished up 36%.
Bitcoin pushed through $82k overnight and is now trying to break resistance.
As most of you know, volatility works both ways. Think of it like turbulence on a flight. It can be uncomfortable at times, but it does not necessarily mean the destination has changed.
We are not going to go up in a straight line and there will be some violent pullbacks along the way. Be prepared for them.
If you are new here, please feel free to ask questions. We have a helpful group and there are plenty of people happy to explain things.
@smarterwebuk has also produced some useful educational material for anyone wanting to understand more about Bitcoin and Bitcoin treasury companies.

Have a great week.

what a great day for #SWC & us shareholders!!
on a side note, Google Finance price is SO out of sync with LSE closing price - Google 46.67p versus LSE ~52p - my folio spreadsheet pulls from Google so shows a much smaller gain than it should be - any suggestions other than going back to a manual fill?! cheers

This is how easy it is to find your Cybercab.
The Robotaxi app uses this color hue and arrow to guide you to the pickup point, and the color in the app matches the lights inside and outside Cybercab, making it easy to know which one is yours.
This will be very helpful for when there are many Cybercabs in the same area picking up passengers.

At Smarter Web, our share price has increased by more than 1,200% since we became a public company in April 2025, while our Bitcoin per share has also increased significantly.
For balance, during 2026 our Bitcoin per share has increased more moderately and, on a net basis, has remained relatively flat, reflecting the use of leverage to deliver that growth. Our share price has also been relatively flat since January 2026. Despite this, we have continued to outperform Bitcoin during the year.
There is a great deal of debate around Bitcoin treasury companies - how they should be structured, how they should raise capital and how performance should be measured. Those debates are healthy, but my responsibility is clear: execution matters, reputation matters, and putting shareholders first in every decision matters.
Our objective is equally straightforward: to scale the business while maintaining a balance sheet that is simple, disciplined and easy to understand. Complexity for its own sake does not create value. We want every decision we make - whether around capital allocation, the growth and performance of our operating businesses, leverage, capital structure or Bitcoin acquisition - to have a clear rationale and a credible path to increasing long-term value for shareholders.
We will not judge our progress by a single quarter or a single metric. We are building for the long term, and that requires discipline in both favourable and challenging market conditions.
I have no doubt that we are on the right path. Our focus remains on executing well, protecting the reputation we are building, scaling responsibly and ensuring that the interests of our shareholders remain at the centre of every decision we make.

With @Tesla Unsupervised FSD, you can watch videos on Cybercab’s massive 22" display as it drives you to your destination.
Welcome to the future of transportation.
This video is larger than Cloudflare's 512 MB cache, so it can't be played through. More donations are needed to cover a larger cache. Donate
This is excellent.
This post contains many key elements disconnected from reality:
-> The Cybercab's launch also raises regulatory issues, including uncertainty associated with the vehicle's lack of traditional driver compliance with federal safety standards. [...] As of Wednesday, Tesla had not filed an exemption request for the Cybercab with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
This is the main false assertion. We know the Cybercab does not need an FMVSS exemption, as I have explained a long time ago, thanks to the dual mode certification procedure. And this was confirmed by Lars publicly.
The fact that this is still under discussion tells you a lot about the level of misinformation.
-> As of Thursday night, there was no way one could specifically request a Cybercab in the Tesla ride-sharing app.
This is misrepresenting reality. Tesla has announced that the rides will be open to everyone from Friday, 5 pm. In the meantime, the people invited to the event can order a Cybercab ride.
-> Tesla’s Texas robotaxi fleet consists of 420 robotaxis, mostly Model Y vehicles. That’s less than half of the nearly 1,000 vehicles that $GOOGL‘s Waymo has registered in Texas.
The incapability to make the difference between the current number and the growth rate, and the lack of understanding that it is the growth rate that actually matters, result in an incapability to predict what will happen next.

Bloomberg is used as a reference trustworthy source.
Gary gives us a perfect snapshot of what mainstream people think. This is a distorted representation of reality, and we can therefore expect:
- The stock to tank short-term
- But reality always comes back like a boomerang. Unsupervised miles are growing at 17% WoW growth rate. We may have 2,000 Robotaxis or more in service by the end of the year at this rate, and 10,000 soon after.
When reality clashes with this distorted perception, there will be a violent re-rating.

this 👇🏻 💯
We have $TSLA influencer-wannabes complaining they didn't get a livestream, while actual cars with no steering wheels are now serving customers and unsupervised miles are growing exponentially at 17%/week?
Yes, please sell all your shares so I can buy them cheaper

Can’t believe the Cybercab is a real product. Yet, as of today, it is!
A salute to all the supporters along the way; thanks for believing in us.
tbh my opinion, if you were disappointed by the @Tesla @robotaxi Cybercab launch yesterday that’s on you - the only thing they promised was the launch of their fully autonomous vehicle, which they delivered - no promise of a live stream, or of @elonmusk attendance, Optimus unveil (why would they, it needs its own event) or anything else - they delivered, ~23 months after the original unveiling - public rides start today! for me as a long-term investor the future is exciting & golden - end of the day……haters gonna [find something to] hate 🤷🏻♂️
The future of transport is safer, more enjoyable & gives you more time back
With theater, music & gaming apps on a 22" touchscreen, Cybercab offers you a space to be productive or unwind
Soon to be equipped with V5 Starlink hardware, too, for complete connectivity
