Tonight’s debate just reiterated the fact that I will be voting for Steve Hilton this election.
If someone accused me of trafficking children, I would be defending myself and making damn sure people understood that my policies did not create a crisis. Instead, Becerra slowly sipped his coffee.
CNN spent time bringing up issues like immigration—an issue a California governor cannot fix on their own. I wanted to hear what the next governor is actually going to do about the issues hitting Californians every single day: electricity, gas, housing, taxes and the overall cost of living.
That’s what matters to me.
Tonight, I wanted answers. I wanted to hear policies defended and plans explained. What I saw instead was a lot of finger-pointing and avoiding responsibility.
For me, there’s no way I could vote for that.
