Eight-year-old child Fatima Hisham al-Bayouk, the sole survivor of her family, has been killed by Israeli gunfire in central Gaza.
In December 2023, Fatima was pulled alive from the rubble of her family’s home in Khan Younis after spending two days trapped beneath it. An Israeli airstrike had killed her parents and siblings.
Since then, she had been living with her grandmother in Deir al-Balah. Fatima died from wounds sustained after being shot by Israeli forces east of the city.

🇵🇸💢 “We came to rebuild our country, the country they destroyed. Why are they attacking us here too?”: Israel strikes Gaza university twice, killing three
Israeli strikes hit the campus of the Islamic University in western Gaza City twice on Sunday, less than four hours apart, killing three university security guards and wounding several others, including students.
“Today, we were studying in class, minding our business, while the professor was explaining. Suddenly, an airstrike hit directly beneath us, a massive explosion,” Mohammed Qandil, an engineering student, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah.
Qandil said he was attending a physics lecture when the strike hit directly beneath the classroom. “We came here to learn and get an education. We came to rebuild our country, the country they destroyed and devastated. Why are they attacking us here too?”
“All we're asking for is our right to education, nothing more. We don't want anything else. We just want our right to education.”

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia announced Saturday it had executed a man convicted of charges he allegedly committed at 14: befriending people who were detained or wanted by the state, according to court documents reviewed by Human Rights Watch.
🔸Saudi Arabia banned executions for crimes committed as minors in 2020, except under its counterterrorism law, which HRW says it uses to silence dissent.
🔸Hassan Zaki al-Faraj was arrested in 2017, held in solitary confinement for six months and sentenced to death on a confession his lawyers say was extracted through torture.
🔸He is the second man executed this year for alleged childhood offenses, after Ali al-Subaiti, whose charges included joining a protest at age 12.
🔸Another man, Yousef al-Manasif now faces imminent execution for protesting the treatment of Saudi Arabia's Shia minority and attending funerals at 15 and 16. At least three more such men remain on death row.
The executions come as Washington, London, and Paris draw closer to Riyadh. US and British tankers are refueling Saudi jets in the kingdom's air war on Yemen, and the Trump administration struck a record $142 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia last year. French President Emmanuel Macron is touring the Gulf this week.
Saudi authorities have executed Hassan Zaki al-Faraj for crimes allegedly committed when he was just 14 years old.
His unconscionable death highlights the imminent risk of execution others face in Saudi Arabia for childhood offenses:

“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah.
Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah.
Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah.
"The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him.
Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.

🚨 Reem Asaad Awad, a 33-year-old mother, was killed when an Israeli airstrike hit her family's apartment in Gaza City's Rimal neighborhood around 4am Wednesday, setting the building on fire. Videos circulating online show her young daughter being pulled out of the burning apartment.
Footage from inside the apartment shows the girl sitting alone on a bed as smoke fills the room and fire burns the wall above her. In another shot she presses her hand to her mouth, eyes wide with terror.
Israel said it was targeting a Hamas member but has provided no evidence.

The Saudi narrative that 'Shias are targeting the Kaaba' serves as a test of intellect for Sunnis globally.
Ballistic Missiles dont fall 80km away from their intended target, this is not a dumb rocket, the less accurate missile has a 2,500m CEP (Circular Error Probable)
Taiz and Jeddah are in 'Mecca region'.
Saudi regime is known to lie to manipulate global Sunni opinion, in bombing Sana'a airport while claiming it was the "Yemeni air force", in allowing the US to use its bases and airspace to attack Iran ...

The Iranian President didn't touch anyone's feet or sought a Pandit's blessing. He simply picked up something that fell on the ground. But the reality is edited. May be a cheap social media stunt. May be a deliberate attempt to show how deeply connected the two nations are. Having ditched Iran during its existential crisis, Delhi's desperation to make amends is bleeding obvious. Lessons for Tehran too. If it is willing to learn them.
