Putting a place of worship on a bonfire doesn’t show strength. It shows fear.
This racist display, along with the paramilitary flag beside it, should be removed immediately by the PSNI.
There is no place for this in a shared Ireland or a shared Northern Ireland.
A really fantastic podcast here in Derry by @StormontSources team David, Michael & Tim.
Hope to see more.
Good luck to everyone playing, joining in or competing at this weeks @fleadhcheoil. I so wish it was back in Derry again. BELFAST you’re about to have the time of your lives.

Martina’s account of choosing the struggle and her decision to have a termination is deeply personal. Her account of her subsequent operation while in Durham prison is an horrendous account of the inhumanity of the prison regime.
You never know who you’ll bump into at @M_AndersonSF book launch @FeileBelfast @MaryLouMcDonald
Maith Thú Martina. Looking forward to @feilederry this Wednesday.
Great to spend the evening back home in Derry with Fintan Drury and Eamonn McCann at the launch of Genocide: Sponsoring the Destruction of Palestine.
One of the best things about being home is the conversations you get to be around. Thanks to Jenny and Little Acorns Bookstore
A welcome reflection on the Bessborough decision.
Sites of historic trauma deserve exceptional care and respect. Listening to survivors before irreversible decisions are made is the right approach.

The Taoiseach Micheál Martin has reiterated the Government will reflect on the planning permission granted to build apartments on the site of the former Bessborough mother and baby homes site in Co Cork

Irish Govt says Shared Island Initiative is its answer to preparing for the future.
Yet,Taoiseach has also made it clear it is not a vehicle for constitutional change.
You can’t claim to be preparing for Irish unity while refusing to prepare for it.
Planning needs to begin NOW!
Billy Garnon retweeted
I assume this is a mistake because unity does not require ‘enduring consent’. The parameters are clear in the Good Friday Agreement, the goal posts need to remain where they are.

This is the kind of moment that deserves support, regardless of who brings it forward.
An Irish Unity Bill moves the conversation from aspiration to preparation.
The future of this island should be shaped through democracy, dialogue and respect for everyone. We at support

Every conversation matters.
From republicans to unionists. Government ministers to opposition leaders. Party leaders, senators and TDs.
Le Chéile isn’t about telling people what to think.
It’s about creating a space where Ireland can hear itself.
