Paul Gilbert plays Ozzy’s “I Don’t Know”, and he plays the whole thing. The vocal melody AND Randy Rhoads’ guitar parts, all on one guitar at once. Fitting tribute. Gilbert learned from Rhoads himself at a 1982 seminar. Here he is in Seoul, honoring two legends now gone.

“Into the Void” was so brutally hard to record that drummer Bill Ward nearly walked out, “To hell with it, I’m not doing this!” Tony Iommi called it the toughest song on Master of Reality. They nailed it, and it became a doom-metal cornerstone. Here’s the original four playing it at Ozzfest 2005, the last time they’d tour together until Ozzy’s 2025 farewell.
