I don't usually make posts like this, but this one is personal. I'm from Venezuela, and after the devastating twin earthquakes that struck La Guaira, thousands of families have lost everything. The humanitarian situation is catastrophic, with thousands dead and many more displaced. My sister is on the ground coordinating purchases and deliveries directly to one of the affected buildings in Belo Horizonte, Catia La Mar. This is not money being sent into a black hole unlike others that want to take advantage of people's kindness. Every dollar goes toward buying exactly what's needed and getting it directly to the people affected. If you donate and want to know where your money went, DM me. I'll personally get you receipts, photos, videos, updates, or whatever you need. Full transparency. Right now we're raising money for: • Cordless angle grinders • Mattresses & bedsheets • Flashlights & headlamps • Canopies/tarps • Diesel for generators • Buckets • Blood pressure medication for rescue workers Every shopping trip is based on what people need most that day. I'll be posting videos, photos, receipts, and purchase lists throughout this thread. If you have questions or want updates about your donation, my DMs are open.
