Write down everything you intend to get done in notepad first. Don’t “converse” with agents, make all your decisions first (i.e braindump), then paste it in and let the agents sort it out.
Top performance in our new era of work seems to entail constant context-switching as you deploy agents. This is exhausting. Too much decision fatigue. Has anyone figured out how to make this feel good? Tell me.

You mean “pay attention to the breath“ doesn’t mean I should buy a HEPA filter?
People keep trying to turn meditation instructions into life philosophies, but the actual stuff (that is much harder to talk about) doesn't emerge until some level of automaticity has been achieved with the instructions.

Windows collects so much telemetry and yet it still can’t tell you how long an update install will take.

What if reality is just a dot, and based on how the dot moves and wiggles around, some medium of generative outfill is adding colors, smells, backstory and etc.?

The vast majority of anything anyone does is based on emotion. Even things people claim to do for “material” e.g acquiring wealth is actually seeking an emotion of security.
Replying to @a_ankenb @zetalyrae
From his previous post: > But [intrinsic motivation is] an emotion, and, like all emotions, it’s transient and short-lived. And this is rational: otherwise, we’d all be stuck in life-long unproductive obsessions. The post: borretti.me/article/no-man-i…

So disappointing when you’re having a debate with someone and they drop the name of some writer and it sinks in that you’re not talking to the conscious part of them, you’re talking to a frozen viewpoint they swallowed, rigidly attached to assumed authority.

Type of guy who insists God is pronounced with a soft “G”.

For every unfalsifiable statement that sounds meaningful, there is a falsifiable rigorization of that statement just within reach.

People think the subconscious doesn’t understand “not” but this is not (always) true, it is because “not” is such a frequently used word that your subconscious gets fatigued at processing it, it is not a hard and fast rule like people make it sound.

I feel like I’m going crazy. I have this memory of reading the foreword of a Chuck Palahniuk book, maybe Choke or Stranger Than Fiction, and he introduces this concept of “beestan”, where writers start to see all their experiences as a raw resource for writing, only I can’t find.

one of the most fascinating ideas I've encountered recently is Chiastic Time life isn't a story unfolding from beginning to end, but a pattern unfolding around a sacred center mainly operating through coincidence and synchronicity, events separated by years reveal themselves as parts of a larger mandalic-like pattern

This is how things really are but most people don't fully grasp this until the age of about 40-50 when it is gradually, inescapably, blazingly clear that it was this way, all along
