Bitcoin Basics are a big milestone, we celebrated #BitcoinWhitepaperDay after completing our @TrezorAcademy class 3
We revisited the importance of self custody given the Binance hack news.
Explored the freezing abilities of stablecoin providers and what it means for sovereignty, it’s very important that we tread carefully.
Happy Rabbit Hole-ing for all the new Bitcoiners
18 years ago today, Satoshi Nakamoto published 9 pages that changed money forever. 📄⚡
Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System", 31 October 2008.
Send value person to person. No bank in the middle. Only 21 million, ever.
We are… building a circular Bitcoin economy, from Arusha to the world. 🦁🇹🇿

An estimated 300 million people world-wide own Bitcoin, about 4 percent of the global population.
That's not insignificant. Seen within context, that's huge! But most of those people have never used Bitcoin, other than hodling it.
Bitcoin only becomes global money (fulfilling it's potential as freedom money) once hundreds of millions more use it to it's full extent: earning, spending and saving in it.
At @BTCPrague project founder @vryfokkenou took part in a panel where the discussion centered around making Bitcoin Circular Economies profitable, and therefore sustainable, and how that could contribute to scaling adoption.

🇳🇬 BIG NEWS: Bitcoin Educators Academy is coming to Nigeria.
AmityAge, in partnership with @DigiOats, is bringing Bitcoin Educators Academy (BEA) to Lagos, a 3-day intensive program designed to build the next generation of effective Bitcoin educators, communicators and leaders.
🎤 Public speaking
🧠 Simplifying complex Bitcoin ideas
💬 Handling objections & misconceptions
🎯 Persuasive presenting
⚡ Pitching ideas with clarity
📊 Building presentations people remember
This isn't a conference where you sit and listen.
Only 10 participants will be selected. Small enough for everyone to speak, practice, receive personalized feedback and improve.
📅 October, 2026
📍 Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria ( Full info for selected applicants )
👨🏫 Lead Educator: @dusan_matuska , designer of BEA
💰 FREE for selected participants, thanks to a grant from the @HRF (Human Rights Foundation).
Regular value: $390 in sats.
BEA is designed for people who already have at least a basic understanding of Bitcoin and already teach, speak, build, create, organize or lead in some capacity. Because whether we call ourselves educators, developers or not, we are all microeducators.
Nigeria, it’s time. 🇳🇬⚡

@Trezor Academy is a non-profit educational initiative led by @JosefTetek: 🧡Bitcoin OG, 📚author of several Bitcoin books, and 👨🏻💻a close colleague I work with a lot. Josef was my mentor in my early months in Trezor, patiently teaching me about Bitcoin and introducing me to many influential people in the space. Have a look at this episode of Trezor Pulse, dedicated to the one and only Josef.
