Every mom in the dairy aisle has done this math.
Nobody ever told her the money changed.

In America, you don’t need a license to discuss Bitcoin, advocate for it, or publicly recommend owning it. Bitcoin is a commodity, not a security. Fraud and manipulation are illegal. Bitcoin advocacy is free speech.

Soon we’ll stop calling them ‘Bitcoin treasury companies’ and just call them solvent.

After being in Bitcoin for nearly a decade, watching this year’s conference stirred something deep in me.
It wasn’t just excitement, it was something heavier.
Bittersweet.
I’ve watched this space grow from obscure internet forums, btc books, and dimly lit meetups. into global arenas, boardrooms, and now Capitol Hill.
What started as a radical idea shared between code warriors, libertarians, and digital pioneers…
has now become something the Vice President wants to speak at.
Congressmen now quote Satoshi.
Bankers and institutions now clap at our language.
And on one hand, this is what we dreamed of.
Mainstream recognition. Institutional respect.
A chance to show the world that Bitcoin is not just real
= it’s inevitable.
But there’s another side. The energy is different.
The signal feels buried beneath speeches, slogans, and sponsorships.
The rawness, the rebellion, the urgency, it’s dimmed.
I look around and realize = many of the people here weren’t forged in the fire.
They didn’t live through the FUD cycles, Mt. Gox, China bans, or bear markets that felt endless.
They didn’t need Bitcoin, until it became profitable or politically convenient.
So yes, it’s beautiful to see the world catching on.
But it’s also painful to watch sacred ground being repainted to look like just another industry.
This space shaped me. It taught me to think independently, to save with conviction, to question everything.
And now I see the world we were trying to change stepping into our home, trying to shape it back in their image.
This is still the beginning.
But beginnings demand more than hype and headlines.
They demand action. Proof of work. Skin in the game.
To those who’ve been here, who still feel the heartbeat of this thing, we can’t let it be co-opted.
We must carry the flame forward with integrity.
Not for fame, not for followers, but because we know what this is really about.
Bitcoin isn’t just a technology. It’s a test of character.
Let’s pass it.
PS,
really excited to watch Ross keynote!
