We spent most of this year rebuilding Wonder, inside Wonder.
The idea is simple. Your code, your agent and your running app, on one canvas. Pull a component in, shape it, run the app, open the PR.
It runs on the Claude Code or ChatGPT subscription you already have, and your code never leaves your machine.
The new Wonder is out today.
We put a crazy amount of work into Wonder Capture, so this means a lot 🙏
Fastest and most precise capture extension out there. Give it a try 👀
Replying to @usewonder
@usewonder's extension has most precise element grabber than any canvas editor extension out there 🤔
literally grab full page with perfect alignmented of text
Preview got a few seconds in our launch video, so here’s a closer look at how we use it.
You can run your app right on the canvas. We added Wonder Capture inside Preview too, so I can grab a page from the running app and bring it onto the canvas as editable layers.
From there I can play around with the layout, move things around, fix some spacing. Then I ask the agent to apply those changes back to the code.
Check it in Preview, make any last tweaks, and open a PR when I’m happy with it.

We've been on a design tool branding spree
Did you know Wonder MCP is remote and headless?
That means you can work with it even when Wonder isn't open at all 👀
Tiny detail, big difference 👀
When the sidebar is collapsed, your pages are still one click away.
What do you think?
很喜欢这个设计软件,很多地方做得比 Paper 更好
What a day 🇷🇸
Serbia is finally free, and Wonder made it into Today's News on X right next to it.
Proud to be building from here. Let's go 🚀
One of our most requested features is live: you don't need Wonder open to design with agents anymore.
Spin up multiple agents and design across different files and pages at the same time using our MCP.
Try it and tell me how it feels 🙌
I've been designing in Wonder without the canvas open, and it actually works pretty well now.
- way less memory used on my laptop
- easier to run designs in parallel
- same control over the design as before
It works for engineers too. If there's a new version of a design, you can pull the latest changes into code without ever opening the canvas.
Try it through MCP in recent versions of Wonder and let me know what you think.

chatted with both @usewonder
founders, @aibek_design and @bjankovic. some of the most approachable and invested founders i've talked to
not charging for mcp calls is unfairly good compared to what figma and paper charge for generation
+ they’ve cracked something game-changing recently. you guys ain't ready 👀
You know that I used Paper and talked about it for a while, and I did so because I believe It is genuinely good tool, but I switched to Wonder and let me explain you why I’m staying with it.
Both are solid alternatives for Figma, but here’s what’s better in each.
Where Paper still wins is image generation because you can run 4 models at once, it's really fast, and you can make really cool illlustration packs with it. That’s basically where Paper advantages end.
Wonder took me over because:
- It handles a canvas full of frames much better. Zooming in and out stays smooth and clean
- It's free. You only pay if you want the built in agent or team features, and they don't charge for MCP calls
- The web capture tool is better & faster
- The founders are super engaged. They talk with users daily and you can tell they really care about the product (I’m not saying otherwise for Paper founders, but guys behind Wonder updated stuff I asked them about in like a matter of hours)
- A designer activity graph is coming soon, like the one GitHub has for developers. Open designs, sharing your work, maybe even getting hired because your stats there. That makes it more of a design network than just a workspace, which I think is what’s missing in design world now
- As a shaders fan, the fact there there are a lot more options for them in Wonder matters to me as well
Most teams and startups still expect to see the work in Figma, so Wonder sits right next to it and makes the whole process a lot faster with more iterations. I’ll keep adapting my workflow, in order to give clients best possible results, and @usewonder makes that difference now.
Paper is out. Wonder is in. Figma stays (for now).
This means a lot ❤️
We’re building Wonder with the designers who use it every day. Thank you for pushing us, sharing honest feedback, and helping us make it better.
A lot more coming! 🚀

You can now explore design ideas with your @bot in @usewonder, try different directions, and play with the details together
Wonder is now an official Grok Bot plugin.
You can design with your @Bot on a live canvas. Try different layouts, play with styles, and refine your designs together.
Love the @raycast keyboard landing page 🖤
Such a great one to test how well our capture extension performs and how it handles all the little details.
