You’re closer than you think
There is an unwritten rule to life that most people never get told. After every long stretch of hardship and uncertainty, a period comes where you make quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life at once. It happens all at once, and it happens because of everything you survived before it. The only requirement on your end is simple. Do not give up on yourself before that period arrives.

It’s actually exhausting spending over 1hr 30mins in the park 😣

You have to fall in love with boredom
This paragraph by Kobe Bryant hits hard: “Everyone wants to be a beast. Everyone wants to be the best. But very few people are willing to do what it actually takes. Because what it takes is boring. It is waking up at 4:00 AM. It is shooting the same shot a thousand times. It is watching the film when you are tired. People fall in love with the result, but they hate the process. You have to fall in love with the boredom. You have to fall in love with the repetition. If you can find joy in the mundane work that no one else sees, the lights will eventually shine on you.”

Avoid it at all cost
Underrated life advice: Be careful what you normalize just because everyone else does it. Complaining about your spouse. Being glued to your phone. Hating Mondays. Creating drama. Spending money you don’t have. The worst habits always come with plenty of company. Avoid the trap.

Rescue yourself
Doomscrolling may be ruining your marriage - not your partner. The level of anxiety and moodiness/uselessness that hits you after hours of DOOMSCROLLING, usually demands an explanation when your brain tries to balance the extremities. And when you can’t find a logical one, it’s easy to conclude that it’s this cage you’re inside - especially if it’s a young marriage. My dear, you are NOT depressed. You are just living how we were never meant to live. Rescue yourself.

What do you do for a living?
Don't be ashamed of your hustle. what do you do for a living? Someone might need your service this week.

Being broke and having a poverty mindset are not the same thing. One is a situation. One is a belief system. And only one of them is permanent. ⬇️

You can earn more and still spend everything the moment it arrives. You can save a little and immediately find a reason to empty it. That is not a money problem. That is a belief problem. And no salary increase fixes a belief problem. 3/4

Nigeria’s heat is no longer just uncomfortable. 😳 Researchers warn that extreme heat could cause 31,400 additional deaths by February 2027. This is serious!

Let the last line sink
Kobe Bryant once said: “I have nothing in common with lazy people who blame others for their lack of success. Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses.”
