Because it can remove data the model needs.
Federated learning enables collaborative training while keeping raw data local. Blockchain coordinates validation and rewards, encouraging honest contributions as training scales across distributed nodes.
That's what FLock does.

When institutions put Bitcoin to work, track record matters.
As bitcoin:native holders explore lending, collateral, yield and other financial use cases, the question isnโt simply what the infrastructure can do. Itโs how much confidence they can place in it.
Bridge risk. Protocol risk. Counterparty risk. Custody. Security.
These are the kinds of considerations Richard Green, VP Institutional at RootstockLabs, discussed in his recent conversation with @0xmauricio from @blockdropspod, particularly as more institutions look at ways to use Bitcoin productively without compromising on security.
For Rootstock, that focus on resilience has been there from the start. The network has been live since 2018, with 100% uptime, zero breaches and zero funds lost.
As more institutions explore ways to use Bitcoin as collateral and put BTC to work, security and longevity arenโt side considerations. Theyโre part of the infrastructure decision.
