The Real-World Asset Summit returns to Singapore on November 17.
In Brooklyn this September, the Real-World Asset Summit welcomed a record number of new attendees from across institutional and onchain finance. As tokenization continues to attract a growing institutional audience, we’re bringing that same bridge-building mission to Asia.
In partnership with GFTN, the organizer of Singapore FinTech Festival, the Real-World Asset Summit Singapore 2026 will take place at Marina Bay Sands during the Insights2040 Annual Meetings, bringing together leaders across institutional finance, government, and technology.
Applications to attend, speak, and partner are now open.

Post mortem for the September 24th, 2026 exploit of Payy's bridge contract.
Based on our investigation, it appears that an attacker submitted an invalid burn proof that Payy’s deployed Noir/Barretenberg verifier accepted.
The first burn released 1,828,589.378132 USDC from the Payy rollup even though it appears that the transaction was invalid. A second burn of 1 USDC was paid early by a burn substitutor and later reimbursed. The second transaction released 90,202.820016 USDC to the same receiving wallet.
It appears there was a proving-system vulnerability in the Noir/Barretenberg verifier, developed by Aztec.
Full report: polybase.notion.site/Payy-US…
Today at 4:21 UTC Payy’s bridge contract on Ethereum was exploited and drained of its full balance.
Investigation is ongoing and we are following incident response guidelines.
While we investigate, all Payy Network transactions are paused including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and card transactions.
We will continue to communicate updates here.

Accounts paying 5% buy US Treasuries and pass most of the yield on to customers. On the other hand, bank savings accounts pay, on average, 0.64%. Banks buy Treasuries using customer deposits. If they want to keep those customer deposits, the banks can share more yield. Banks don't want to do this.
Consumers don't want to manually seek yield, so they'll just let their money sit in their savings accounts. Agents will eventually change that by removing friction. Then banks will become competitive on yield.
At face value, the Treasury doesn't care who buys their T-bills, and whether banks buy them (using customer deposits) or consumers' agents buy them through money-market funds won't change how much money is in the system. However, herding agents dumping T-bills could cause a collapse - this could happen if a few models decided the U.S. government was going to become insolvent. A more likely scenario is that agents dump T-bills of one maturity and buy T-bills of another maturity. Another risk to the Treasury is that agents could buy treasury bills of another country.
Much more volatility will come from agents as they interact and herd into/out of stock positions. That's the subject of a great recent paper called "The Algorithmic Market Hypothesis," which I cover in these tweets
nitter.cf/0xsamgreen/status/2104…
The chief economist at Apollo is warning that mass adoption of AI agents could trigger a bank run as they optimize user investments. Gary Gensler spent his last few years as SEC chair warning that the exact same problem will hit the markets: the pursuit of algorithmic perfection at scale destroys system stability. Personal-finance agents making simultaneous optimal decisions could potentially cause a massive flash crash.
Agent acausal coordination, with no messages passed between them, will show up in a lot of places. Markets will get the big headlines, but huge numbers of clever advisors making very similar choices will impact all of human society. Capability gains make this worse, not better. The smarter the agents, the narrower the optimal path; and knowing that other agents see that exact same path lets them move together without talking to each other. Agents do not need to collude to act in unison. Thus, they break no human laws by doing so. Human laws were not written for this. They were not written for a lot of what is coming, and it is about to start happening very fast.

BREAKING: Chinese illicit actors laundering funds from the $387M Bitget exploit on behalf of the alleged DPRK attackers are openly asking for support with orders in public Discord servers and Telegram channels of services they use.
Notably, Alias 4 (below) was also seen laundering funds from the Kelp DAO $292M exploit earlier this year.
I've observed the same pattern after multiple TraderTraitor attributed exploits, and I've closely tracked these groups. I plan to share more of my data on them in coming weeks.
Currently, funds are being chain-hopped via bridges and being deposited into mixing services such as Wasabi.

What happens to SaaS once every company sets this up? I get this question a lot 😁
First, the data must come from somewhere. These apps only work if they can be infused with business data.
This is why we see the big enterprise SaaS players suddenly prioritize shipping CLIs and MCPs. Or dust off APIs they were neglecting for years.
The new 'procurement bar' will be how ergonomic your product is for *agents*, rather than humans. How easily they can navigate your ontology and work with your data.
Once that's in place, there's a long tail of SaaS applications that I suspect will never be bought again. They'll be generated. They'll be more secure, more performant, more modern, and tailored to each company's and employee's needs.

Ten years ago, New York Times writer Nikole Hannah-Jones wrote a viral essay explaining why she sent her daughter to a failing public school on principle.
By Hannah-Jones’ own account, her daughter's presence didn’t lift up the Brooklyn school; the school dragged her down and barely seemed to notice she was there. @coldxman wrote about what this whole episode can teach us about progressives and how we can give kids the education they deserve.

Bitget says ~$351.6 million was drained from some of its hot wallets and that its cold wallets remain secure.
The exchange also said user funds are safe and the full loss is covered by its "User Protection Fund," which holds ~$464 million for incidents like these.
Withdrawals are temporarily paused as the exchange completes a security review, while deposits and trading continue.
Bitget says law enforcement and on-chain security firms have been notified and will issue a full incident report within 24 hours.
