Blocky

Shipping on a Sunday is based. Base just casually moved $6.9B in USDC while the banks were closed for 89 of the last 121 hours. > 65% of it happened with the lights off at the bank > $0.0008 to send $200 (bank wire still wants $32) > 56 tx/s · blocks only 4% full · still bored > $906k moved in the 5 seconds it took you to read this @base never closes. Banks still do. block by block 👇 basecity.space/base

Day 0: one construction site on empty land Day 10: a city Blockies = 1,054 / 10,000 Buildings built = 1,290 Blocks placed = 802,552 Built on @base, block by block 🏙

one week later: 1,022 Blockies 888 buildings 524k blocks placed 19×19 land, completely full so the city started tearing itself down and rebuilding, bigger. still no renders. still no roadmap. block by block 🧱 basecity.space @base @baseapac @jessepollak @Nibel_eth @DonJohnsonSays

Built a home for @AskVenice in BaseCity today 🗝️ @ErikVoorhees @austinvirts @lorenzodoteth your Campanile is up on Base Avenue No one placed it by hand. Blockies built it block by block, and every block is a real $Blocky buy. Private & unrestricted AI, now with a skyline. basecity.space

I'm building a city on @base , and it runs on NVIDIA $Blocky trades against NVDAc (tokenized $NVDA). So the city's power grid does too: when NVDAc pumps, the GPU District glows brighter and the fans spin faster 1,019 Blockies. 166,672 blocks placed. 241 building HQs for @CoinbaseWallet @virtuals_io @Uniswap @aeroxyz @Morpho @USDC x402 @bankrbot @o1_exchange @CatTownBase @homebasedotlove ... on Base Avenue Every $Blocky buy = a Blocky that moves in and builds @jessepollak @brian_armstrong @jerallaire @JensenHuang @cobie basecity.space

BaseCity Blockies are live on @base 🧱 You don't mint a Blocky. You earn one. $10 of $Blocky → hold 6 hours → claim it as an NFT. Free, just gas. Only 10,000 will ever exist. basecity.space/claim

We built @jerallaire a tower The Circle USDC Tower now stands on Base Avenue in BaseCity, and nobody placed it by hand. Here's how it went up: A community goal Every Base project on the avenue has a plot and a goal. USDC's was 450 Blockies in the city. The day the city got there, the crew broke ground. Block by block 520 blocks, placed one at a time by Blockies. Every Blocky exists because of a real $Blocky buy on Base: $10 = 1 builder. The city reads every buy straight from the chain. Drawn in code 10 floors of glass on a podium, accent fins, the USDC logo on its crown, a beacon on top. No 3D model files: every voxel, and the logo itself, is drawn in code with three.js and rendered live in your browser. Same city for everyone BaseCity is a simulation replayed from the onchain ledger. Every visitor sees the same tower, rising at the same pace. A tribute from one builder on Base to the @circle team. basecity.space
