Pausing Pulse Running @pulserunningapp for now.
After two intense months building non-stop and reaching 350 users (4 paid), it’s time to step back and refocus on new opportunities. My runway’s over, so I need to regroup and explore what’s next.
I still believe in the product — it just needs the right marketing angle and a full-time push.
This has been my most fun and rewarding project so far.
Grateful for everyone who followed the journey.
Next up: diving deeper into AI consumer products.
On to the next 🚀

Ask the why.
I was reading this blog today when it hit me.
We quite often accept the situation as it is, instead of asking the why.
Let me show you an example.
Let's say you would like to be in San Francisco today. But you can't.
Normally, you would stop there and say "yeah, that's a bummer."
But what if you started asking the why?
A first answer will be: I need a plane ticket and a visa.
But I can't get a visa.
Why?
Because of my country.
Is there any other type of visa I can get?
Yes.
What do I need for it?
And on and on, until you find the one action you can do now to change the situation.
This is called high agency, and it's the most common trait of successful people.
It's the ONLY thing you need to change your life.
I would have loved someone to tell this to younger me.
So next time, ask the why.
This is such controversial since a lot of succesful founder tell you to "Never quit" and believe enough
I think the skill is to know when you stop and move on.
But it's hard
Ultra successful people quit projects constantly - they abandon hundreds of half-finished ideas and have zero guilt. ‘I never quit” is not always a superpower.
I’ve met researchers who have shelves stacked with scrapped academic papers, artists who bin half an album after 2yrs of recording and founders who return money the week after a seed because they lost conviction in their idea
Smart people struggle to quit things; pride means they cannot distinguish their good work from their exceptional work , and they waste months on dead-ends. This mindset is a massive tax on the tiny number of ideas that have genuine potential . Determination is important but knowing when to quit and when to double-down is a much rarer talent.
So glad someone is finally tackling this
This was the main bottle neck on kitty

DON'T STRESS ABOUT MOAT
Thank you legend!!
Replying to @paulg
So don't stress about moats, for example. Just grow. It's slightly bad not to have a moat, but it's far worse to pass on an opportunity to grow because it doesn't have one. Moats often emerge later anyway.
