Some reports are saying 4 UBJP MPs split off to support Abdulraof Macacua, and 1 BGC MP broke off to support Ahod Ebrahim.
It seems party unity disintegrated this early on.
Abdulraof Macacua is the first-ever elected Chief Minister of Bangsamoro.
Abdulraof Macacua (BFP) - 51 MPs
Ahod Ebrahim (UBJP) - 27 MPs
1 abstention
Seems like several UBJP MPs indeed crossed party lines and voted for Macacua.
79 of 80 members of parliament are present, Abdulrahman Mangudadatu is the lone absentee.
MP Mangudadatu is the son of former Sultan Kudarat Gov. Teng Mangudadatu who has been rumored to replace one of BGC's nominees to enter the race for Chief Minister.
... and while waiting for the Chief Minister vote later, you can take a look at barangay-level election results on bns-ph (dot) org!
Rosary Heights VII, where Parliament itself is located voted for UBJP for party-list, and for Sheriff Abas (UBJP) for district at 39% turnout.
Today's the first session of the first-ever elected Bangsamoro Parliament.
The question is, who will be the next Chief Minister?
The BFP coalition claims it has a majority, claiming as much as 52 seats. This would mean some defections from UBJP occured.
Abangan mamaya.
Batanes is a traditional baluarte of the Liberals, with Noynoy Aquino, Mar Roxas, and Leni Robredo all winning. Here is the map by barangay.
LP will be fielding Luis Abad as their candidate for Nov. 28's special election. Will they retake the seat they have long held?
Batanes' special election is heating up with John Gato (NPC), brother of deceased Rep. Ciriaco Gato going up against Luis Abad (LP) son of former Rep. Dina Abad and Sec. Butch Abad.
Mayor Milo Caccam of Basco (~45% of reg. voters) is endorsing Abad.

Batanes marks the third special election for this year following the passing of Rep. Ciriaco Gato Jr. Earlier this year we had special elections ins Antipolo and Dasmariñas.
Batanes elections tend to be quite competitive so it could be interesting for sure.

Looks like the initial warmness between BGC and BFP continues to hold.
BFP backed BGC’s bets in Lanao del Sur where Adiong is Governor. Some of his allies carried BFP for the party-list.
Will a coalition form? They would have 46 seats, above the 41 needed.
