You guys Uyo was so much fun this past weekend. Thanks to @boldozfest I got to meet my fellow authors and have the absolute time of my life! I can’t wait for next year.
Tomilola Coco Adeyemo, author of A Very Gidi Christmas and A Nollywood Christmas, was at the 3rd edition of @boldozfest this year.
She writes romance because she wants Nigerian women to feel cherished and loved on paper.
And honestly? She delivers every single time. If you haven’t read her books yet, you are missing out. Nigerian romance at its best. 🥰🥹
Three years in and it gets better everytime.
Stay tuned for season 4!
The Boldoz Book and Arts Festival just wrapped its 3rd edition in Uyo and @boldozfest and @boldozbooks have built something really special here.
Three years in and the numbers speak. Over 200 students inspired to actively pursue writing. This year’s theme was Sio Uyo, “Speak Out”, and the lineup matched that energy perfectly. Tomilola Coco Adeyemo, Rosemary Okafor, Nkereuwem Albert, Nestor Udoh,Oreva Ode-Irri and more, all in one room.
This is what showing up for Nigerian literature looks like. Every edition of BBAF is a reminder of how rich Nigerian literature and arts truly is.
