Yes and no, basically twitter just made it public knowledge that they nerf NSFW posts into the void, but they've been doing this for a longggg ass time, at the very least since last year. The long and short of it is, flagged nsfw posts will only reach your own following audience and only if they have their age/aren't a minor, otherwise the post will be hidden from them as well as no new people can find it because it won't be searchable even with hashtags. People are also being given permanent 'your whole account contains sensitive media' bans in the settings which means you are basically undiscoverable (not through search, not to your followers, not to new people, nothing you are a total void), when I got it back in June I had premium which meant I could have the label reviewed/appealed and it was successfully removed. So the take away is, label your nsfw, don't let twitter do it for you, that way your sfw posts can still reach new people and bring in new eyes to your art as well as to your nsfw stuff.
