LTA has now stepped in on the Punggol AV near-miss After a Grab/WeRide autonomous shuttle nearly hit a schoolgirl at a green-man crossing on 5 Nov, LTA has directed Grab to pause AV testing at certain junctions until its investigation is done That is a narrowing of testing at those junctions, not a full stop of Grab's Punggol AV shuttle service LTA said an onboard safety operator took over, and that the shuttle had already started braking and pulling right as the girl stepped onto the crossing.
