So long and thanks for all the fish

Wow, @Runkeeper. I used to love you, but after tracking my first run today with my new Ultra, you have issues. The split times are just wrong, as is the cadence and pace charts. The overall pace looks ok (maybe a little slow). But all this data is just useless to me

Not to mention that the activities wouldn’t sync until I forced them with dummy activities. And the lack of pace targets for a custom workout is a real oversight. I guess I need to keep looking for a good app.

How in the name of mathematics do you get a 10:10 average pace from this graph? (BTW, it probably wasn’t even 10:10. More like 9:45 based on my run speed at under 9:00 with a 2:30/0:30 run walk interval)

Where are you @paulandstorm [S]? I know you have to be here somewhere? It’s the revenge of Moisterico!

That was a quick, and appropriate, response. I understand what they were trying to accomplish, but when Gaggle's entire business model is "violate the privacy of students", you're not going to make them better.

In light of concerns about Gaggle’s software having a role in negatively impacting LGBTQ students, we’ve made the decision to return the $25K donation from the company and end our engagement. Our philosophy is that having a seat at the table enables us to positively influence how companies engage with LGBTQ young people, and we initially agreed to work with Gaggle because we saw an opportunity to have a meaningful impact to better protect LGBTQ students. We hear and understand the concerns, and we hope to work alongside schools and institutions to ensure they are appropriately supporting LGBTQ youth and their mental health.

Ever since I crossed paths with @ryka_aoki on @JoCoCruise, I’ve saved Light From Uncommon Stars until I could really enjoy it. I’m about a quarter of the way through it now. I don’t even really know her, but with every word I can see how much of herself she poured into this book.

Not just the main character, but there is no way she could write about music and instruments like this without experience. I wouldn’t normally pick an SF/F book like this, but I’m so glad I had a reason other than my own weird SF preferences.

Every word sings. I hear my own daughter’s anxiety about who she is, and whether or not she belongs or is good enough, echoed in Katrina. I’m glad I waited until I had the right time, but I’m also sad it took so long.

Ballroom with 200-300 people and the doors mostly closed. Can’t say I’m unhappy with how this place is handling ventilation

I really like how @CloudflareHelp made sure to lean into the victim blaming in their “reasoning”. If only you hadn’t fought back, everything would have been fine…
