One thing I’ll never get over: people naming their kids the worst names possible. Any name with the suffix -son is a male name. Period. Anglo naming tradition would follow, if your name is Jack, your son might be called “Jackson” “Jack’s son”. Please never name a girl with the suffix -son. Also, plurals as singulars. I saw a boy named Gentry. Gentry is a ‘class of people’ whose social status was right below peers. Don’t forget the ‘bizarre spelling’ class of names as well. If the name is Tory or Tori, cool. But never ever Torriegh, or Tawreye. Another big one is names that are spelled correctly but the parents insist you pronounce them incorrectly. Someone named Elisa, (the correct pronunciation is a long I) and insisting I say Elissa (short I). I can’t see Elisa and pronounce Elissa. This hurts my brain. Enough ‘tism for one day You are kneecapping your kids by giving them weird names.
