#OnThisDayinHistory 34years ago 1 Nov 1987, with the DM&EE test team from Derby, we were testing the prototype SIG bogies under M12140 ready for the new Mk4 coaches, oh and 43102 & 43159 became celebrities taking us to 148.5 mile/h 😎 #Class43 #RailVehicleTesting
This week the team at #quornwagonandwagon have finished the restoration of the Shoc-High and made a start on the LNER Tube wagon.

Over the last two weeks at #quornwagonandwagon, we've made good progress with the Shoc-high B724570, and finished off the Bauxite application to the tool van 854097.
We've also seen all seven of our Esso tanks coupled together for the first time.
