The White House media ban
reminds me of the Teddy Roosevelt quote:
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Republican headliner JD Vance lied to a crowd in Council Bluffs, Iowa, today, telling them that Trump banned Wall Street from buying up everyone's homes.
FACT: Trump refused to sign the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, so it became law WITHOUT his signature on July 11, 2026.

Trump predicts an incoming economic depression due to his presidency. As we’ve said many times, this has always been his plan: create the problem, ignore all the warning signs, crash the economy, try to blame the Democrats for his actions.

A young fan received a baseball from an Astros outfielder when the inning was over. Seconds afterwards, the umpire with a straight face walks up to the kid and tells him “you can’t have that, give it back”. The kid oblige and gave the ball back and went back to his seat.
The umpire started laughing his face off and told the kid he was joking around. Kid started to laugh and gave him a fist bump,

Trump claimed he's "banning the free press" and added "we're repressive also" when asked about China's lack of press freedoms during bonkers Oval Office event where he struggled to stay awake, demanded kids get five vaccine shots instead of one, and rambled incoherently in response to basic questions

WaPo: More than 820 U.S. service members have been wounded in action since the Iran conflict began, the public casualty database says. Many have suffered traumatic brain injuries as a result of Iranian counterstrikes on U.S. bases throughout the Middle East.
NEW: More U.S. service members have died in the Middle East during the Iran war than the Pentagon has publicly disclosed, according to a Washington Post report citing six U.S. officials familiar with the Defense Department’s internal casualty data.
Five officials say at least 22 military fatalities have occurred, four more than listed in the Pentagon’s public database. A sixth official put the number at 23.
The Pentagon’s public database currently lists 18 military deaths since the war began on Feb. 28. Three U.S. contractors based in the region have also died since combat operations began.
Replying to @RepThomasMassie
@RepThomasMassie and I have defied history a second time, securing commitments for 218 signatures on Epstein 2.0, including @RepRalphNorman, @RepBrianFitz, @RepNancyMace, and every Democrat. Two Democrats were sick and will sign the day Johnson calls us back in.
We will not rest until the Epstein abusers are held accountable and there is justice.

It would be great if the American media could report that The Kennedy Center was operating with a SURPLUS of $40.7m in 2024 before Trump was re-elected.
SURPLUS.
And that what he says below according to the numbers I've seen just ANOTHER LIE.

The president's tariffs are deeply unpopular with the American people. 70% of voters want additional constraints on the president's authority to unilaterally impose more economically damaging tariffs.
Yet Congress is about to further empower the president to impose more taxes on American families and businesses. @clark_packard and Chad Smitson break down what's at stake.
