check out my in depth post about the fooplugins site rebuild using AI - all the details - what I learnt and what I think the (near) future of building with agents will look like:

All my newsletters go to my agent now.
I forward every one to Bender's inbox on @agentmail, and delete it from mine.
He reads them and tells me in Slack if anything affects my business.
If something's really interesting, he adds a research task to the backlog.
Highly recommend!

9 out of 14 of you said an agent writes ALL your code nowadays.
Nobody picked None.
I said Most.
What do you still code by hand? nitter.cf/bradvin/status/2114028…

My 2026 so far
Jan : shipped an SEO tool to avoid expensive subs
Feb : started ClawPress - an AI agent inside WordPress - it died
Mar : got a little obsessed with agents, so I built a directory for them
Apr : attended CheckoutSummit in Sicily - met amazing people!
Jun : rebuilt fooplugins .com in 3 weeks with an agent dev team
July : came up with foopixel and started building it
Aug : started helping others setup their own Hermes
Sep : started posting on X daily
Oct : Boys trip for Korn concert in Manchester
Are you a photographer? How do you handle…
- Sending your clients a private gallery for proofing
- Let visitors react and comment on their favorite photos
- Let guests upload their own images and videos
- Watermarking to protect your work
- Selling your own photos to the public
You can do all of these with FooGallery Studio for $169 per year on 3 sites.
After October it's back to $199 a year.

A vibe coded gallery only has to work on the site it was built for.
FooGallery has to keep working on 100,000+ sites, with :
- whatever theme and page builder they run
- translation plugins
- every host and PHP version
- every WordPress update, the day it ships
- security updates, like the one that went into 4 of our plugins this month
When something breaks, someone opens a support thread and wants their problem sorted.
My agents now do a lot of that work, from reproducing bugs to testing the fix.
So would you still pay for a plugin in 2026?
nitter.cf/bradvin/status/2106338…
FooGallery has 100,000+ active installs, and it pays most of our bills.
If we kept doing things the old way, I don't think FooPlugins would be around in 1 year.
Anyone can vibe code a gallery in an afternoon now, and every page builder ships one.
Why would anyone install my plugin when they can prompt their own?
I ask myself that a lot.
This is what we're doing about it :
> build the things a prompt can't : the fastest performing gallery plugin; cloud-backed services.
> bundles for agencies who build lots of client sites
> keep support fast, because a vibe coded gallery has nobody to email
> build for agents too, like FooPixel
Is it enough?
No idea yet.
What are other plugin makers doing?
A customer's images VANISHED from the WordPress editor.
My agents reproduced it, found the bug and tested the fix.
I approved the release.
The customer confirmed it worked the afternoon we shipped it.
The whole chain, from report to release : nitter.cf/bradvin/status/2115457…
Plenty of plugin shops seem to have a sale running all year.
This is common in other industries too, so the psychology must work.
I feel a constant discount devalues the product and hurts long-term trust.
Am I being too precious about this? Should I cave and do the same?
I sometimes run dozens of agent sessions at once.
Across codex, claude, t3code, hermes (slack) and openrig.
Multi-tasking has become my new super power.
Been thinking : how can I just get my agent to manage the agents?
So excited about this new gallery layout. It’s also going to be the hero for our landing page very soon!

When an agent says it's DONE, it might have only written a plan.
Here's a definition of done you can test out :
- Return the result and where I can inspect it
- Explain what you checked and what happened
- List anything unresolved or unverified
- Say who needs to act next
And if it couldn't get the result, it has to tell me what blocked it.
Does your agent tell you what it didn't check? nitter.cf/bradvin/status/2115457…
