Morning all ❤️One of our fab core team members, Nita, took these photos of the park yesterday, hopefully you recognise where on the course they are. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long before we get to go back there. Keep following the Government guidelines & stay safe all ❤️
We know you are all going to miss parkrun - we certainly are. The gathering of like minded people, a chance to catch up, enjoy each other's company. BUT however much we miss it please do not go to our parkrun today! It’s not the right thing to do for people's health and because..
...because if we do, we are not caring about everyone's health.
So please do not go to any parkrun at 9am.
That way we can get through this quicker, together and be back stronger 💪

WOW! That was some crazy weather this morning!😳 We can’t thank the volunteers enough for their help this morning. You are worth your weight in gold ❤️ well done to all that took part, and stuck with it when the hail appeared. Results will be out later this afternoon.

Calling all park runners in the #eastmidlands! Fancy something a bit different? Why not take on the tower on 14th March and run to the top of Leicester's tallest building! @parkrunUK @braunstoparkrun #DishleyParkRun #LongEatonParkRun

Well done to everyone that took part this morning. Once again a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers!! Hope you’ve all thawed out now! Results will be a little late this week so please bear with us.
Huge thanks to our fabulous volunteers that came out this morning to help out. It was a bit blowy and wet at times but we got through it unscathed! 😆 you guys really are amazing ❤️ If anyone would like to help out next week then please let us know.

So proud of our amazing volunteers who ran a fantastic event for a whopping 891 runners who came to our event today. What a great way to start the running year. I hope everyone enjoyed it & see you on Saturday. Don’t forget you too can be a #HighVizHero - just get in touch
The first of our extra parkrun is fast approaching and we’re still needing a few more helpers. We’re expecting big numbers as there no Vicky Park run Christmas Day so need a full team 🤞 Please let us know if you can help via our Facebook page.
Sooooooo, who’s up for a bit of fancy dress this Saturday! 😍 Whether it be a hat, jumper or full on outfit, let’s get into the Christmas spirit before the big day 😆 Lots of Elves needed to help out so if you fancy volunteering please get in touch via our Facebook page. Thanks

Here’s something we already knew and yet another reason to come to @braunstoparkrun on Saturday - Any amount of running reduces risk of early death, study finds theguardian.com/lifeandstyle…
Very sad to say that we are cancelling this weeks @braunstoparkrun. There are a group of travellers parked up in our set up area & it’s unlikely they will be gone by Saturday. This isn’t a decision we have taken lightly but hopefully we’ll be back to normal for next week.
We all know how much you love a good fancy dress day so have decided to do a joint Halloween/pyjama day this Saturday. Also, volunteers get to enjoy a cake this week so if you don’t want to miss out then get in touch via our Facebook page to let us know.
Every runner needs a support team!
Be part of our Support Team on Saturday and be a HighViz Super Hero. Get in touch via our Facebook page if you can volunteer this week.
