Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
For the Sauce:
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
½ tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
For the Noodles:
12 oz (340g) wide egg noodles or lo mein noodles
1 lb (450g) ground beef
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)
1 red chili, finely diced (optional)
2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Cook the noodles. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Make the sauce. Whisk soy sauce, hoisin, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger together in a small bowl.
Brown the beef. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add ground beef and break it up. Cook 4–5 minutes until deeply browned and crispy in spots. Add white parts of green onions and cook 1 minute.
Add the sauce. Pour sauce mixture into the skillet. Let it bubble and reduce 2–3 minutes until glossy and coating the beef.
Toss with noodles. Add cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a splash at a time if needed to loosen the sauce and help it cling.
Finish. Remove from heat. Top with green onion greens, red chili, toasted sesame seeds, and cilantro if using. Serve immediately.
Tips
High heat is key — it gives the beef those crispy, caramelized edges.
Don't drain the beef fat — it carries flavor and helps the sauce coat everything.
Toss fast once noodles hit the pan — they soak up sauce quickly and can stick.
Variations
Swap ground beef for ground pork, turkey, or crumbled tofu.
Add broccoli florets or snap peas for extra veg.
Double the sauce if you like things extra glossy and saucy.
The Arch/Holly Rowe situation is hilarious.
If you want equality, don’t clutch your pearls when you get treated equally.
Arch laughed at an AI video the same way he would have if a man had been slapped/punched.
You don’t get to pick when you’re equal and when you’re not.

If Western Michigan had been throwing the hail mary at Michigan, the clock expired on the field with an incomplete pass just like we all saw, do you believe the Big Ten would have given Western Michigan one second back and allowed them an extra play? Yes or no?

🚨 THE PS BLACKOUT IS SPREADING- AND IT’S GETTING LOUDER BY THE MINUTE!
Gamer, this one is fire. We’re on Day 7, and instead of this thing fading away, the conversation just keeps spreading.
More gamers are talking, more people are pushing back, the media has gotten involved, and #PSBlackout is reaching places I don’t think Sony expected it to reach.
This is exactly why I keep saying the noise matters.
One gamer can be ignored. Thousands of gamers posting, cancelling subscriptions, refusing purchases, tagging Sony, talking about physical ownership and keeping the conversation alive?
That gets a little harder to pretend isn’t happening.
Keep pushing. Keep posting. Keep tagging them. Don’t let the conversation disappear just because the original blackout period ends.
If gamers want choices, ownership and a voice in where this industry is headed, then we have to keep using it.
Excellent Day 7 breakdown from @Blaze2KX. Kudos, brother. 🔥

🚨 PLAYSTATION GAMERS: NOVEMBER 5 MATTERS.
If you’re participating in the #PSBlackout, understand something: a boycott only has power if it survives long enough to reach the numbers.
Sony’s next quarterly earnings report is November 5.
That’s when shareholders get another look under the hood at Sony- including the performance of its Game & Network Services business.
Tweets can be ignored. Angry videos can be dismissed. Trending hashtags eventually disappear.
" But lost Revenue is harder to explain away."
If PlayStation spending weakens, subscriptions soften, or the gaming division underperforms expectations, investors are going to want to know why.
And that is where consumers have leverage.
If your message is No Disc, No Buy, don't abandon it after a few days because Sony hasn't responded. A boycott isn't measured by how loud Day 1 was. It's measured by what consumers didn't buy afterward.
November 5 doesn't guarantee the blackout will show up in Sony's results. There are many things that move quarterly numbers.
But it gives gamers something important:
A scoreboard.
Keep watching. Keep asking questions. And if you're participating, stay consistent.
Sony may not answer a hashtag.
"Shareholders will ask questions if the numbers give them a reason to."
