When someone treats you badly and your first thought is “maybe I’m the problem,” it’s worth asking what you’d have to feel if you weren’t.
Often, the feeling you're avoiding is anger. And for a lot of us, anger felt way more dangerous growing up than blaming ourselves.
Shit happens and sometimes you could've prevented it, but sometimes it would've happened no matter what. It's important to recognize which one it is, but if you always think it's the former, then it's probably because you don't want to consider the latter.
In other words, a lot of self-judgement is really a refusal to feel helpless.

It’s a very good movie but if your takeaway is that Elizabeth Holmes might be a neurodivergent victim I think you have forcibly disconnected yourself from reality.
More specifically, she *obviously* gets The Who’s on First joke—and is profoundly motivated to pretend she doesn’t.

For anyone getting into biology, please consider taking airborne disease resistance more seriously.
It's a super important area of medicine that is a huge cause of death and sickness but easily gets forgotten. We're likely to get many more airborne plagues in the future due to the combination of not just extremely dense and interconnected society (including city and farm animals), but also accidents from bio research and offensive biotech (both from random people and from secret government programs that can easily get themselves exempted from safety restrictions), all enhanced by powerful AI.
Right now, this area is getting way less love than longevity research (which continues to be super important!), but it's an area where there are lots of unclaimed wins that we know exactly how to do (but are not yet doing) with present-day tech:
* early detection
* passive universal testing
* filtration/ventilation/UVC
* better vaccines (including making them open source and open science)
* cryptography to make all of the above privacy-preserving
We can have China-level pandemic resistance with Sweden-level limited intrusion into people's lives, and then go even further. We just have to actually do the work for it.

Very weird experience: I'm sorting out a complex issue with a financial firm and both the customer service rep and I are clearly communicating through AI. The LLMs are making the process way faster and smoother, but there's an Uncanny Valley like quality to the whole thing.
For 15 years I've marketed products to people. My new one is built for AI agents.
I've joined @krakenfx to lead marketing for AI products, starting with Kraken CLI, which lets agents trade.
I'm also working with @arjunsethi again after ten years, and I report to @kamobit, who was our growth advisor at @farmsteadapp.
I spent three years at @askjoai building a personal AI agent, and I wasn't done with agents.
My growth rule since @Yahoo has been "never ship without an experiment behind it," so I'm happy Kraken CLI has paper trading built in.
Your agent tests a strategy against live prices, and when it works, "kraken paper buy" becomes "kraken order buy."
If you live in terminal and film builds or trading breakdowns, I want to see what you'd make with Kraken CLI. Same goes for the influencer marketers and agencies behind them.
I also want to hear from newsletters and communities that reach developers, AI builders, and crypto people.
Want to join Kraken, solo or with your whole team? DM me.
You can try Kraken CLI without an account: kraken.com/kraken-cli
Sometimes a new team process is just a process. But other times it's a convenient way to skip over an interpersonal problem.
Think I'm going to need to build a dashboard to keep track of all the dashboards I'm building in Claude Code

HERE'S THE ANTHROPIC MODEL: Anthropic will go public at $2T in Oct '26 and will be a $1T ARR company and $10T+ company Dec' 2030 as the winner of AI.
Here's how Anthropic gets to $1T ARR in 2030:
- 2026E: $125B ARR +14x YoY w/ 5 GW live
- 2027E: $266B ARR + 114% YoY w/ 10 GW live
- 2028E: $462B ARR +73% YoY w/ 16 GW live
- 2029E: $700B ARR +52% YoY w/ 23 GW live
- 2030E: $1T ARR + 42% YoY w/ 30 GW live
I'm dropping my full Excel model modeling out:
- ARR by business model (e.g Consumer, B2B, Enterprise, API)
- API business broken down by model type (e.g Fable 5.1, Mythos, Opus, Sonnet)
- Training costs and inference cost as a % of revenue
- Gross Margin ($ ARR per MW and Cost of Compute per MW) as well as forecasting GW secured.
- Net ARR (vs Gross ARR reported by trackers) removing marketplace pay out, Meta, Chinese AI labs
- and more
I also share the @artemis thesis for WHY Anthropic is the AWS of AI and winner of AI in the enterprise (and open source and ANT / OpenAI can win)

Full Disclosure: I don't have inside information. I took what's publicly available from the July '26 @SemiAnalysis_ model and added my own judgement based on public information and my own world views. I've spent a life time modeling as a former HF and VC analyst. I'll update the model as soon as the S-1 drops.

When you're in a difficult relationship, it's common to reduce the other person to simple labels. You construct a 2D caricature that leaves you certain about how the other person is and how you should respond in turn. Look a little closer, though, and you'll see this does nothing but harm you both. You make them the villain and they will follow suit.
If you want to make things a little better, let go of the caricature. Imagine what it's like to be them and what would meet their needs in the moment. I guarantee things become easier from there.

If there's one professional lesson I've learned, it's this: Don't convince yourself that you have only one option.
Whether it's a potential hire, an investor, a business partner, or a job opportunity... avoid the Scarcity Trap. It just leads to anxiety and poor decisions.
