Physical consumers lose ownership, resale, lending, retail competition and choice when physical disappears. So answer the actual question: What NEW consumer benefit do we receive specifically in exchange for Sony removing that choice? Not what Sony gains. Not what publishers gain. Not what digital customers already have. What do WE gain from removing an option?
